Great entry! I loved the jump arc. It feels perfect. The involuntary ground pound mechanic is pretty unique as a main mechanic, it was very well done!

The puzzles are really cool. You're incentivized to break glass boxes just for the fact that you don't know if there are any stars in there. I found myself trying to clear all boxes just to be sure I didn't miss something.

Loved it!

That's a 5/5 for me. Holy crap that was well done. I love the music! It felt like it really belonged with this game. The jumping sound and wave activation sounds are perfect. I don't mind hearing them a lot. Gives the game a lot of character.
The challenges were just hard enough that I didn't get annoyed by losing so often haha. I felt like I really had to practice my wave air travel in order to progress and it felt rewarding to finally get it. Art is great and simple, but informative.

Really cool submission!

Lettuce isn't good, but that's where the challenge comes in. Trying to create all the recipes that include lettuce is hard because lettuce has horrible stats. So you need to do things like combine it with low Vol ingredients or upgrade it in the Make organic phase to make it better and easier to combine.

You're right a tutorial playthrough would make things much more clear!

Thanks for playing!

Always love another fellow microwave game dev haha. that was fun, it was slightly confusing at first, but was really fun when i got the hang of it!

art style was simple but gave a charm to the gameplay. some labels showing what each zone is might be helpful!

this was very interesting! I found it a little confusing how i was supposed to optimize to reach the groove goal, but i think i figured it out by the end haha.

Nice work!

I really wanted this to work! It seems regardless of job, I could just press space bar and move around also it wasnt clear how to start the waves.

Art style is really cool though! i would definitely play a less buggy version of this!

Great little puzzle game. some levels really stumped me at first, but i got the hang of them eventually. would love to see more levels and audio!

i wasn't sure about the controls at first, felt a little unconventional, but that might be a good thing. i got used to it in the end. love all the upgrades!

nice work!

Glad you enjoyed. I had never heard of those other games before submitting this, but i see the infinite combination similarities!

cool idea. like others said, i went max amplitude thinking it would be OP, but got me into trouble in the end. Nice submission!

this was amazing! art is so polished. great idea. i was a little unsure about all the money you start with, but once i saw that you move up an upgrade tier once you max out it made sense.
nice work!

Thanks so much! Yea I struggled with making that decision. I wanted it to feel slightly uncertain, but you could still figure it out if you took the time to do the math. The approximate moisture drain label above the ingredients gives you the drain per second and you can figure it out if you times it by 15 and compare the number to the moisture of the ingredients in the microwave. It is possible to be certain, but I found myself approximating and hoping, which adds to the tension and I kind of liked not being sure (though it is annoying when you're far in the game and you lose all your progress. But that's why I added the recipe book system so that losing didn't feel so bad if you added some new recipes to the book).

Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for playing!

I admit the goal is not immediately obvious, but it becomes clear with playing! Thanks for playing!

Thanks! Load up that microwave!

Haha thanks.

Yea the game is a shell of what the fully fleshed idea is, but I think I may revisit this in the future. Gives me an idea for a game jam specifically to give you more time on your previous submissions if you feel you could go further with it.

Gameoff 2025: Extensions

that was great! loved the sound design. gameplay was interesting, the different shields is nice addition to the mental stack

This was so fun! I really enjoyed figuring out the puzzle. Very clean execution

I agree, very addictive! I just wanted to keep playing! Love the wave rushing as a mechanic to get you to home your rotate skills! Nice work

Thanks for playing! Yea I had a choice, make over 8000 illustrations for plates of food, or find a way to combine them with slight offsets on the plate haha.

I agree with all you said! Feedback was something I started added near the end of the jam, but ran out of time.

The game had a lot more complex multipliers etc, coded in (pared down versions) but it began to get too out of scope for 1 month haha. Might revisit the game in the future.

Really fun platformer. The jump is really smooth and feels just right.

the active game decisions for me were that i was able to switch ammo mid run. like from freezing enemies to the using the same turret to burn the enemies or poison them once they were frozen. it felt like i had more decision making power that effected my success in the game! just some things to do during the wave other than building the towers kept me playing!

Kept me playing! by the end with all the upgrades, you can pretty much hold space and not tip over, but that was a good ending point anyway haha. nice game

A little slow, but it needs to be for the complicated controls. i would suggest another control scheme to move the waveform. very unique idea!

i think the little bit of interactivity is nice. switching between freeze and fire once theyre slowed down nice. only thing is that freeze can make the round go REAALLLY slow if you dont have turrets set up everywhere. cool game though. i say lean into the active gameplay decisions.

Haha yea, 8178 recipes to be exact. Thanks, glad you liked it!

Basically count of cards in the deck before a shuffle!

This game was awesome!

One cool avenue I could see it going is object manipulation. Once my ground recharge got somewhat high I could spam clicks to throw enemies in the air. would be cool to have puzzles where you have to manipulate objects in the air to place them on pressure pads to unlock doors or something. It seems like it would be just challenging enough that people will want to get good at it.

Really nice submission!

Really cool art direction. love the switch to first person. It came at the perfect moment as a palate cleanser. Nice work!

gotta respect the microwave! a little laggy, but good game!

Charming graphics, unique idea, nice work!

I like it! the minimal style is great. i felt really overwhelmed on the elite enemies, but it gets less stressful the more different units you have. nice work!

Love this!! so cozy and beautiful. seagull speed is awesome.

hey there i sent you a request on discord, I'm interested in collaborating!
