Apparently the cracks in the base can be fixed with cement from the store, but I agree with most of your points here.
Very Interesting story and premise, fun game! (Though the stamina runs out a little too quickly for my taste)
There really needs to be a toggle for legacy controls. I cannot get the hang of the new controls, and the inventory change is also irritating.
An option in the settings to toggle between the old and new eating sound would be nice.
