I thought this was interesting and charming, great job!
My Notes
- The presentation is really fun.
- I find the character animations particularly charming
- Good music and sound.
- I’d love to have controller support for a platformer like this.
- I feel like the spikes could be a bit more forgiving.
- I got caught out my invisible spikes regularly, so showing the dead body was really useful.
This is one of my favourites, impressively polished, great job!
My Notes
- I love the atmospheric music.
- I like the nice simple art.
- The mechanics feel very polished.
- The quick restart is a nice touch.
- I like that you tutorialize through level design but I found the first mirror throwing puzzle quite hard because I didn’t realise you could rotate it. Perhaps adding some control prompts through the game would be good.
I could see this becoming a super fun game like hotline miami but with a twist, fantastic job!
My Notes
- The music is so funky.
- Sound effects are fun.
- I found bouncing the bullets satisfying.
- The bouncing is a little difficult during more ‘actiony’ sections, maybe allowing the player some sort of slow down mechanic would be fun.
- I really like that you are incentivised to bounce the bullets to increase damage.
- Tricky not to kill yourself though!
This is a really ambitious and cool entry, great work!
My Notes
- The tone is fun.
- The colours really pop.
- The music fits well but does time out.
- Pixel art characters might be a bit busy?
- I had trouble getting my head around the controls.
- Super cool concept of the split tactical gameplay.
- It would be nice to have a restart button.
- I like the sound effects that are here but I think it could do with more, particularly with enemy actions.
- The animations are cool, I like the way the units kind of sway and the enemies bop
I had a lot of fun with this!
My Notes
- The bullets did more damage to me between levels than any other time.
- It’s hard to select an upgrade if there are still bullets around.
- I ended up avoiding firing unless I knew it was going to hit any enemy.
- Music fits well.
- Firing feels ok but could do with some more impact, gets better with two guns.
- Took me a while to realise there was a dash but I think that’s on me.
- Could do with a little more enemy variety.

This is super unique! Fantastic work.
My Notes
- It took me a while to understand the pace of the game, I was expecting a doom like but it’s more deliberate than that.
- I enjoyed attacking the enemies from around corners.
- I love the noise the little guys make when they die.
- The shield bouncing and movement feel good.
- The map was way more useful than I expected, particularly because you can see the shields.
- The theme is interesting.
- Some music and general progression would be nice.
I definitely enjoyed my time with this.
With a platforming game like this, I’d love to have controller support and the jumping away from a wall jump feels a little strange but generally the platforming feels good. I got a real kick out of wall jumping off of each other. The characters and environments look cute. The sound effects are fun. I enjoyed the puzzles but I did get stumped near the end.
Overall, great work!
