Aw, thank you! and thanks for subscribing! :)

Thank you! The background is painted as an actual map. I stamped some textures like the rocks and painted where I needed definition. Foreground sprites and props are placed in the engine and pixelsnapped. None of it is tilebased :)

Thank you! It was actually my first attempt to write something more narrative. I am german and I am aware that the english translation would need some lecturing. ;)

Please make sure to follow on itch and/or subscribe to my mailinglist, so you won't miss it ;)
It is so hard to get visibility on itch and every follow helps me to actually reach players when I do a sequel. Thanks a lot! :)

A nice atmo track and footstep sounds work wonders ;)

Thank you so much! :)

What do you mean with copyright claim? Was the music in the gameplay footage flagged or did you added it on top? Anyways I wasn't aware that the music was fingerprinted. I looked it up and read that because it is shared by the pixabay license the usage in the game/video footage is absolutely fine. Pixabay suggests: clearing the claim and taking no further action.

Thanks for playing btw and the music you added works really well. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks a lot! :)

Aw, thank you! :)

Thanks a lot! Yeah it was my intension to make it rather creepy than scary. Please consider following me, to keep in touch when I make a new game ;)

Yes, I missed a bit of context. Slavic mythology, 900 AD. Knowing what and how many endings would spoil the experience, don't you think?

Oh, thank you! I'd like to recommend my previous adventure game The Plague Doctor of Wippra. You can find it on Steam and GOG.

Oh, I'll check that out! :)
Inspiration is slavic mythology and pagan rituals dating around 900 AD. Karachun is an actual slavic spirit of frost. Besides encounter with spirits I want to add crafting based on herbs etc. with historic correct medical use. I did so too in my last adventure game The Plague Doctor of Wippra.  https://store.steampowered.com/app/1811740/The_Plague_Doctor_of_Wippra/

Absolutely fair critique. Yeah I really missed the time and place introductory part - mostly because it was defined clearly in my head :). My inspiration was Slavic Mythology (Karachun is an actual slavic spirit of frost). Time is about 900 AD. Now that I think about it, I might add the context as an update.

I hope so too! :) But I can only make it through a Kickstarter I guess and the success depends on how many people I can reach out to before.

Thanks! :) Yeah I think so too, choices affecting the stats are a bit inconsistent. Did you miss some type of dice roll mechanic like in Disco Elysium or is it good as it is?

Oh, thank you! 😊

Yes. I thought this game could serve like an introduction of Zarya becoming a shaman mediate/summon/battling spirits in the full game.

Aww, thank you! :)

Glad you liked it :)

Thanks! I fixed this bug now. :)

4, and two different approaches depending on your stats and choice.

Thank you and thanks for playing! 😊

Aw, thanks a lot! :)

Cute and very polished!

Wow super polished and cute!

Pretty cool! Reminded me somewhat of Darkwoods and got some nice extraction shooter vibes.

Nice simle idea with promising atmosphere but would have benefited of some foliage, terrain texture and feedback from fire paricles. You might consider adding this as an update because with some changes it could be a relaxing little game.

Style looks interisting but unfortunatly at its current state not playable. I got stuck at the barricade and couldn't move afterwards. Tried attacking but to no avail. Attack icons without icon graphics are quite difficult to understand ;D

Love the voice over at the start but unfortunately felt really lost afterwards. The lantern I bought didn't spawn at my position or in my hand, I accidently found it.. somewhere I guess? Would've been helpful to get that tutorial window back and a bit more UI to indicate what is going on.

There are more endings than you might have realized ;)

Thank you so much! Yes, I realized that the walk ani glitches when I saw it in a youtube video! :D

Thanks a lot! Yeah I probably spent too much time on it :) What helped was that I used my framework which covers logic for all interaction. The artstyle is based on ideas and mockups I did before. What I struggled the most was actually the writing :D

Finished the boss! Surprisingly complex for a game without screenshots ;)

Thanks a lot, was fun to watch! :)

Thanks a lot! :)

Relaxing and nice presentation, only lacks a bit gameplay depth.

Cool blend between puzzle and skill.

Nice presentation! It would be great to have some more rewarding feedback, when clearing a route.
