Very nice visuals. I really liked the last chapter where going back to the roots of where the art started. Great work!

What a nice little game. The ideas are quite funny and well executed! I really like how they start to roll when moving for a while, which feels nice.
I played it solo, which was fine to handle both players. I just dislike the tank like controls. They are a little bit unintuitive to use for me.
Nice work to the whole team!
What a cute little game. I really liked the puzzles, visuals and music!
At the last large door I was way to focused to throw the ball into the hole above instead of recognizing the lantern behind me xD
The atmosphere was very nice. I especially liked the room with all the stars around. The changing face on the ball while throwing is a very nice touch.
Some recommendation from me:
- For a short game like this the mechanic was okay. At the later stages it was getting a little bit boring.
- The camera was a bit to fast and hectic, and messed my movement up sometimes
- The platforming is a nice touch, but the controls are too "smooth" and it was always the feeling of sliding off
Overall a very nice game for the time!
This is a very impressive game for only 2 weeks. Very nice work! I'm not a huge fan of collectathon games nowadays but it reminded me of Banjo Kazooie back in the days. The mechanic with the dandelion is very well made and executed. The visuals and music are great and at the end the dandelion feels too overpowered which is funny to float so high.
For me personally the rotation at the end was to much and made me feel dizzy.
And I strongly recommend a decal under the character to see where the player is, which also works in the shadows. It is sometimes hard to judge where you are flying currently
This game is really cute. I really like the characters with the eyes showing how they feel and where they go! Also the music is very nice and fits the theme and art very well.
Some feedback for improvement:
- To play together the characters are in my opinion too fast. It happens very fast that you loose each other and have to restart
- As others mention to give them different goals would make it that little bit more interesting
- Also the jittering of the characters at full speed for me personally destroys a little bit the feeling
- Try to find another solution for boundaries than a hard wall. For example: Something like the camera goes no further and at a point, teleport to the other side
Very nice game and music! I enjoyed the story and artworks.
Few recommendations to improve for further games
- The areas of content are quite far apart (text, artwork, cards) - so they feel disconnected (I first did not see that cards are dissolving and missed the artwork because the text was so far away)
- The music is great! But sometimes the loop is quite noticeable
- Gradients are in a lot of times not good to look at because of fragments in color, which is unfortunaly the case here
But overall great work from the team! :)
Very nice game. I really like the art of both characters. They are quite unique! Support for controller and therefore couch co-op would very nicely fit that concept of the game.
But they are some points of improvement I would recommend:
- The jump is very hard to control. It speeds up a lot while in the air which makes platforming hard
- The music is nice, but loops very often and noticeable
- That I can't use the buttons with the mouse, while a mouse is required to play the game is confusing
- The characters sometimes are hidden (like trees) which makes it hard to understand where they are. I recommend some sort of dithering in front or stencil silhouettes
But overall very nice! I think you got yourself a very neat art style and idea to work with.
Very nice little game. It was a little confusing in the beginning but felt nice. I like how the player progresses while playing! I also think the small companion is a great addition.
Only minor things: The sliding of the cliff feels off. I would not add them personally, as they often feel wrong if not intended as a feature. And the harsh reset when falling down and somewhat be stuck in the flower is confusing.
Thank you very much for your feedback and praise! Nice that you played through the whole game. We put a lot of effort into the music, visuals and mechanics.
For the light method we knew we needed to add something to keep it interesting. Therefore the fox only walks in lit areas and the ducklings only stay in a certain distance to the player. But it looks like when it happens the first time, we need to communicate it, so that it does not look like bad AI 😅
