the music is great and the run and gun is really fun

You're totally right about navigation, that's been one of the mains complaints we've received. If we ever revisit the game, the map will for sure be improved upon!

Thank you! You're right, we totally forgot to mention how to kill the rats. You have to get a mop and whack 'em with it!

Thank you for playing! It's our 7th Game Jam as a team, so we're getting the hang of it! This time around we were a team of 10 people, all willing to sacrifice sleep lol.

As for navigation, in order to "force" the player to play the "loop", they had to succeed in remembering where everything is by trial and error. Similar to when you work retail IRL, where the first time a client asks you for something, you've got no idea where it is.

Edit: You're right tho, navigation is harder than it should be, if we ever revisit the game, we'll for sure make a better map!
