I tend to get really focused on my work when making music, so it’s probably good it’s on the same thing I use for memes. If I need a break from the music it’s right there lol

GarageBand actually has a lot of sounds and synths to work with, but for this jam I made sure all the tracks used the same drum kit, electric piano, and synth pad. I just added a unique synth/instrument for each song.

I also kept everything the same key, length, and bpm.

Ironically I find it so much easier and more accessible to make music on my phone, then I can share it relatively quickly. It might surprise you further to learn my device is an iPhone 7.

Okay, so far of all the ones I’ve heard, this submission is my favorite! Appreciate the concept of the game, enjoy the the guitar and vibes, I recommend :)

I agree with you on the monotony, I think I was trying too hard to stick to the notes I had written and got caught up trying to emphasize the leitmotif.

In my defense, I was also trying to find something that could loop unobtrusively in the background while reading text.

However, chord progressions would have been helpful, I think you’re right.

Thank you, I did my best. It was especially tough to find the right sounds to replicate a firework going off!
