Congratulations!

Just wanted to drop a quick message to say huge congrats on hitting 20k subscribers! It's an amazing milestone and it's REALLY inspiring to see your channel grow.

I couldn't quite make it in time to join this jam, but I've been loving the energy for it and watching the streams. Would absolutely love to see another Queble game jam down the road where I could actually participate. Count me in for whenever that happens!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time in the jam to flesh out the game as much as I would have liked and I found this ending to be quite fitting for a narrative based game. But, of course, I would have liked a more expansive ending sequence with a potential escape or fleeing-sequence. Thank you for playing!

Well, if this was truly your first attempt att game dev you’re a prodigy mate. This was awesome and felt extremely polished for the time allottee. I can tell you have good taste and will do good in the space. Good luck!

I think you misunderstood my comment mate, I thought it was a really fun concept! And I just see the potential if you make a bigger game you know :)

The bullets move in sine waves! I think you can do better in one month though, good luck next time mate!

I certainly did! The movement felt good but the input method was lacking. It has a lot of potential!

The UI is a bit difficult to read at a first glance, I think a simple Tutorial or a more clear UI in general would help. It took me a while to figure out the difference between my own visualizer and the desired target waveform. Otherwise, a great game. The puzzle aspect is amazing, big respect to you for making this. Honestly, the best one in the jam so far.

I like the style, it looks very polished. The tower defense idea is a bit stale atp in my opinion but incorporating the waves was really cool.

Cool style, the jumping is quite jarring however.

Really cool concept, I like the cave design and the climbing+movement feel really good. The crouch is a bit jarring maybe, but otherwise good! 

Doesn't really follow the theme of Waves.

Hmmm, I think I see what your intention was with the theme, but I can't help but feel it fell a bit flat. I like the cats, but the music is too loud. Spamming arrow keys was also a bit infuriating!

Not really sure what it has to do with waves. Game can be cheesed too. Otherwise, fun entry.

Wow! This game was actually amazing!!! I truly loved it. The art, the UI, the sfx, the music: it was all great. Truly a remarkable feat that you mananged to put this together in such a short time. I started really getting into it after I figured out how to maximize the number of enemies behind me and then hit them all with the automatic wave thing. It was SO satisfying to get that multi-kill!!! From one developer to another: GREAT WORK. I have nothing to complain about. Maybe the innovative aspects could have been more "out there", but it's not really an issue since the execution was so great!!!

No repository attached, no images, lackluster gameplay. Saddened to see the state of this jam unfortunately. The game is stolen too.

Okay this would be good for a first game actually. I suspect you used pre-made assets for everything in the game, which is a little disappointing. Unfortunately there is no GitHub repository attached either, which further lowers my rating. I also think that you might have just made a Roblox-style Obby game and then just added the wave "mechanic" at the end to make it fit the theme. Overall, disappointing entry and I do see the potential. You could make this a lot better with just a few simple additions. Don't be discouraged! A few issues: the raycast for groundcheck is painfully precise, and the thin platforms often make it bug out and not allow the player to jump. Consider adding Coyote time or a more expansive groundcheck.

This was a unique looking game! The sound design is very good and I love the cute art style. I couldn't quite get it to work just right for me though, and I do think the core concept is a tad too difficult. I understand there is a tutorial but most people will simply skip it. Otherwise, a fun concept.

Really cool! So simple, yet striking. Another watabou classic.

This was really cool! I like the movement, and the interpretation of the theme was funny.  Some issues I ran into was that sometimes an enemy would spawn on/inside the player and instantly hurting me, which  felt a little unfair. And also, the hitbox for the dog is a bit too big I think, as  you sometimes take damage without even being close to an enemy. I feel like I couldn't reach them to attack without taking damage myself. Otherwise a really cool idea and the art is good too!

Made in about 1h to experiment with PICO-8. Super basic but fun for... ehh about 20 seconds or so!!!!

The sounds are really satisfying, and this game is a true mini bullet hell. It would be really fun to see this get a little fleshed out since the shooting and exploding is so nice. 

The sprites are beautifully drawn, and the sounds are quite nice too!

The music is really good! And it felt almost surreal.

I'm not sure how to get feathers or how to use the powerups, but I like the graphics and the audio is quite nice for the time spent.

I really like the graphics a lot, and I could see the concept being fun if it was more fleshed out. Good for 3 hours!
