I really liked how chilled this was. It kid of reminded me of an easy going snow level in one of the later 3D Mario's (Galaxy or Odyssey). It sounded really cool

Really beautiful. It helps evoke just a sparse, cold, still environment. Beautiful!

These are amazing

Loved this one. It was totally different!

I liked this. It was so chilled and easy going to listen to

It didn't feel right putting my enjoyment as anything but 1 star because I really feel for you and can sense your love pouring through for your cat. Significance would have been the better rating! :). I really liked it. I feel like your cat had a cheeky, loveable spirit, especially the little cheeky finish.

That was awesome. Definitely some kind of side scroller boss action there!

Was a tonne of fun to listen to. Definitely got the impression of hell from it :D. Loved how you played around with the tempo. It really brought something to the piece, a general sense of chaos you'd expect from hell!

This was a really strong submission. Hands down definitely got the theme the most out of all i've currently listened too. The orchestration was really good and loved the bells throughout. Mix was fantastic too!

Got to agree with the other comments on this one. Really well orchestrated, sounded really great composition wise and the mix was fantastic. Couldn't fault it to be honest!

I got Doom vibes from it. Definitely would work in something like that. Cool!

These were both really cools. Very different tunes!

Thank you :)

Thanks so much. Some of the dissonance was intentional but I think some of it "overhangs" because it's altogether not as tidy as it could be. Definitely learning more and really appreciate your feedback on it. Thank you

Thank you!

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciated it. I'll definitely give the built in mixing a try in Reaper. It's a new thing i've just never explored before so a definite learning curve for me :)

Thanks so much for the advice. I've tried the quantization on another track i've been writing and it's really helped a lot. Will definitely try it on this one too! :)

Sounded like something out of original Doom!

That was a lot of fun!

Love the resolution! :D

I like it. It's really chilled and easy to listen to. Good job!

Really cool opening sequence. Absolutely loved it and had some really great atmosphere. I agree with the other comments from Turtlebox and the textures getting a little close elsewhere. Overall though, a really good composition!

I don't know why but from your description and the music itself I could imagine this in a game like Tunic or something like that. There's definitely some mega listenability about it. Easily could chill out to it whilst trying to figure out some puzzles :D

Really nice submissions, I really liked the last track as well. I thought the piano was balanced better in the second track, but the piano on the first track seemed to drown other instruments out and came across too loud (to me). I think slightly reducing the volume on it overall, would help balance the composition a bit better :)

Total vibe. Chord progressions are ace!

Piano solo was absolutely gorgeous!

Lovely composition, I really enjoyed the textures in it. My only observation is that your flutes in the lower registers get lost a little bit with the string textures over them. I would suggest bringing the volume of them up when they're in the lower registers and reducing the strings to help provide a better balance. :)

I liked it. It was very easy to listen and had a very easy going way about it. I would agree that you could have done more with it, possibly taking it off and developing it more. It felt like it was going to build into more and then didn't so it would have been nice to see where it took us.

The birds definitely added something to it as well.

I like it, it's cool.

Right, this was totally crazy and I'm all here for it :D. I thought the panning was great at the start. I really liked the instrumentation and the general 8bit feel. I've given it 5's for creativity! No WAY there's no creativity gone into that! Keep thinking outside the box :)

This is a really nice submission. I think possibly there's a few strange chords in there that don't quite work as they cause some clashes. For my personal tastes I think you could actually go with a bit less in the orchestration as there seems to be a lot going on instrument wise in a short space of time which from a listening standpoint gets a little overwhelming. Otherwise though I think you've got something really interesting! :)

I really enjoyed this entry. Thank you! :). I thought that you really got the theme down and I thought the Japanese influence really shone through well. For me personally, I found the melody when it came in a little jarring. I think possibly because it was in 4th's against the bassline and the sort of jazzy element to the main theme. I think the balance was good though and I really enjoyed the overall feel :)

Thank you very much, that's very kind. I really appreciate it 😊

Thanks so much! I agree about the cello. Didn't totally feel happy with it so will definitely look to edit it in the future ☺️

Thanks so much for the feedback. I agree about the cello. I wasn't totally happy with it and wonder if it was the right instrument choice! Definitely food for thought for the future 🙂

Thanks so much for this feedback! I definitely wasn't totally happy with the cello so will check out this library!
