I'm not sure I understand why this would be. I assume most latency controls would introduce a 500ms delay across the board, and then use the latency setting to account for it.  From there, you can 'turn back time' in either direction as needed...right?

I'm not a developer, of course. Just a drummer that is worse at this game than I would expect to be

By any chance, if there was a way to include a local folder of images for the extension to draw from, I would be most appreciative. I tried creating something like this a short while back, but sadly the gap between my vision and my skills was too great.
