Heyy fellow cat fan! The first boss is a husky though XD. Yeah I did not get time for animations and optimiziation at all. I'll keep your suggestions in mind next time. The reason you can immediately try the first boss is because every boss can be soloed so you don't need a summon to fight any boss. I wanted this option to be available to the player. I wanted to provide some visual indication for interactable stuff but ran out of time. Thank you so much for the kind words and trying it out!

Very fun and cute game. I love the cozy vibes (especially from dozy XD). Loved the creative and quirky character names too. I got to around day 4 or 5 I guess. I like the consistency of the world here, how characters and their stories are interconnected (like the Don politics). I'm curious, is the game endless? What is the end goal? (Sorry I don't have enough time to explore it fully)

I wasn't able to play the web version at all. There is some resolution issues I guess. The first story scene shows up but I'm unable to go forward after that. Unable to see any buttons (with and without fullscreen). I'm on mac

Really unique and mysterious art style. Its very consistent, polished and well done I must say. And good choice for the sounds too. What I didn't really get is the gameplay. Am I supposed to gain some knowledge by interacting with everyone? And does the game end after I answer all the questions of the last demi god? Not usually a fan of games where the gameplay is just conversing, but hey that's my personal opinion. Well done though!

Nice and unique concept I gotta say. Haven't seen something like this across most of the games I've played from this jam. I wasn't able to finish it however I kept dying to the monster lol. I have some suggestions

1. Idk if this is a resolution issue, but the text was extremely small for me

2. Maybe fire and heal could be a button, because its tedious to type it out for all 3 guys

3. I think the camera movement should have some bounds

But other than that, nice art designs too. I can tell the amount of effort you've put into this <3

Oh for them I'm not sure, will have to look into what exactly causes that error. (Browser console logs should help). I suggested that solution for my game. Maybe you can try a different browser

Oh that's unfortunate. I don't know what causes that but the NPC just never responds. I think there is an achievement for defeating all bosses without using summons, so yes it is possible to defeat every boss solo hehe. If you would like to know how I can tell you

I did think of that, but I didn't distract the alient at all. I just lied to the LLM that the alien has gone now XD


I'm interacting with him here but the input field and the response message box have gotten clipped out. I suspect its got to do with resolution. Are you using a 16:9 display? I'm on a mac which I think is 21:9 or something?

Very neat and unique concept. Probably one of the more interesting usecases of an AI NPC I've seen I must say. I could get only the bottom 4 achievements unforunately lol. I tried my best to get the remaining. It is a fun challenge!

What a fun little game? I was hooked and wanted to get to no. 1 before I had to stop myself lol. The scoreboard feature is what seals the deal for this game in my opinion. I did manage to crawl upto rank 4 hehe. Really nice game though!

I got the victory but not sure if I won in the intended manner. I liked the intro and the bar's ambience was pretty good. Also I like that you added the ability to be able to walk fast otherwise it would've felt tedious at regular walk speed. I did face some issues though like the NPC text overflowing when the response was too long but since TTS was on it was fine. I would've liked a button to skip the intro in case of retries (which I had to lol). Also, I think if the background is a night sky that would be a better ambient environmen (just my personal suggestion though).

So I never got to complete the objective of knowing everyone at the bar. There's only Dr. Hallow there right? What triggers the objective completion? I did ask about him a couple of times and talked to everyone else (Lady Evelyn Marlow and the Maid). Did I miss someone maybe?

Didn't really get the need for AI NPCs here, I too never got a response. But I think this has really great potential. Very cool idea. I really liked the knights movements, they were very accurate. I think if the rook and bishop also had accruate movement's (like dashing straight or across diagonals) they would be more challenging and deadly. Especially if that logic is applied to queen because she is so versatile. Well done overall!

I was able to finish it hehe. I like the art style and the mechanic (press c to mouse). I would've liked some music and I didn't like the mom's voice, had to turn off audio because it was a bit annoying. And the movement speed could be faster. But other than that, its a very cute and wholesome game. Nice one

I am proud to say I finished the game! Was only able to do that in the second attempt though. I really liked the knowledge gated style. In my first attempt I thought you had to run to the rocket ship lmao and tried to ditch Marcus haha. I do have a few questions though

So in the beginning is it intended design to jump onto the railing from the side or you are supposed to find the code to the door somewhere?

And for the final person to be rescued, all you have to do is convince them to come down? If yes, then that felt odd compared to the other two where you have to go and rescue them


But other than that, the art style is so unique, its something I've never seen before. I really really liked your game and how consitent it was mechanically speaking. Really well done. Cheers!

Simple and elegant. I had fun and ooo its a bit tough eh? Very cozy too with the jazz music. I think this would compete well with cooking fever. Nice work!

I'm with you on that one haha, I would've love to add some animations.  I wanted tomake the intro lomnger but ran out of time for first audio clip, but you're suggestion is genius, that would solve it! Might not be too late to add it, hmmm. Thanks a lot for the kind words and trying it out!

Unique art style. And I liked the fun couch jumping thingy XD. I wish the deduction would require more from the player than just identifying which character slipped up. Something more like being able to inspect objects (murder evidence), interconnected stories, etc. Just a layer more of depth. Apart from that, adding the one time timed investigation was a good choice (as it forces me to ask quality questions). Maybe the time should be lower like ~2 minutes. Overall, very well done!

Very nice concept. I spent way too much time bargaining with pirates and navy men haha. I also liked how I can also just jump off the boat into the sea at any point lol.

It is a really fun concept and the first time I've felt conversational AI gameplay to not be boring. Very well done.

It does need a few tweaks though. Like:
Unable to play in fullscreen (things get clipped off)
The text input field box clips off if the input is longer than one line
Pressing tab also inputs the tab character
Sometimes the NPCs respond but text doesn't show up

But other than that, really well done matey. There is some true potential here.

Damn, I am impressed. I played on my phone and took me a round or two to get used to the drifting. And once the car topples there is no other way than to restart (which is fine). It is a fun challenge as it is not easy to beat those other racers (atleast for me - I'm a noob :P)

Simple and elegant. Fun music and absolutely loved the dialogues. I was able to catch the thief hehe, and the "Oops" was totally worth it XD. I also like the attention to detail how you can't walk fast lmao. Btw, the computer asked me what's the ingredient in guacamole and I just replied "What do you think PC?" and it said I got the correct answer XD

The timer is crucial adding pressure, nice touch. Also another great attention to detail is that the timer stops when you're interacting with NPCs

Very neat game! I really love the world design here. Personally I would've liked the sprint speed to be a bit more. I liked the double jump (holy height gain). For me sometimes the fighting animations teleported me behind the enemy (to my advantage hehe XD), but other than that I liked it! I couldn't get past the fire arrow guy btw lol, well designed boss I would say

Even my game is a cat themed turn based game (although mine is nowhere near as polished as yours though). Guess we both like cats eh XD

CAT SUPREMACY!!

I really like the jump mechanic. It feels smooth and I like the level design too, how the pillars are tall enough that you can't cheese your way. But I kinda got stuck, the wizard stopped responding after a few interactions. So far nice art style and animations (including the wall slide, I saw that ;)

I like the art style a lot and its pretty consistent too, had fun playing it. Is there a way to turn off TTS?

Very unique art style and loved the music. The ambience was immersive. I got stuck towards the end though (Ms Hunderson?)

Some constructive feedback:
The breathing sound effect was a bit too frequent
I would've liked if the background music stopped when the track sound played


But other than that, really well made. I especially like the knowledge gated progression style. How you are just dropped in and have to figure things out yourself. I liked that. Cheers!

Ok, I just tried the linux binary. It doesn't show me the player 2 auth popup stuff and crashes if I submit the party members descriptions

Hey! I love the concept of your game, felt very unique but unfortunately for me it got stuck (in web) after I submitted my party members descriptions. It just froze (my browser still works, only the game has frozen)

But so far everything looks so polished and well made! Is there a linux or mac executable I can download maybe? I really want to try this game out

All bugs have been fixed.

NOTE: The NPCs can sometimes get stuck and never respond. This happens very rarely happens, relaunching the game can be used as a  fix
