This was one of the only horror games I ever played that actually had me paranoid. Fantastic!

I played your game and had a fun time!!

first place in story?!?!?!?
you guys are the best!!! Thank you all so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

omg!!! I’ll have to check it out :D thank you!

Thank you!!

I wish I could take credit for the pixel art.

its from the Legend of Zink asset pack here on itch.io I Highly recommend it :)

it’s crazy you mentioned deltarune chapter 3 because that was a huge inspiration for this game! Thank you so much :)

Hey everyone! I just want to leave a quick comment on here. I am very touched that the game is receiving heartwarming responses.

I want to clarify that the games events are entirely fictional meaning they are not real. Max is not a real character neither the father or mother involved in this game.  I wanted to aim for a REAL human scare.

That emotional toll that can be heavy on the heart and leave a lasting impression on you.

I tried to make the games characters as well as the grief of the father feel as real as possible. seeing some of the responses I have gotten has led me to believe I have achieved this goal.

I hope that might make those who thought this was real feel better knowing its just a story. Thank you once again for enjoying my game!

I just finished my game for the SCREAM JAM 2025 and wanted to share it here with anyone who was looking for a short 5 minute horror game! its free and plays directly in your browser.

Without spoiling too much the game is about a grieving father who uses a game to cope with what he has lost.

I also made a video you can watch instead if that's more your speed!

I only had a week to make it (shorter then that actually because life is busy right now) so its a little rough around the edges.

Id love any feedback so I can make better work!

aw man that’s lame :(((((

An oddly entertaining game, I gassed the creatures!

Really fun game! I think the ship controls could use some very slight tweaking. But its really fun and a cool concept!

A fellow Construct 3 user!!! Absolute Cinema!

im sorry you had a hard time uploading the game. I see you used godot.

I am not sure if this video would be of any help to you.

I couldn't launch the game :(

Pretty fun game! I think there should be a resource to juggle to prevent the player from spamming the shoot button.

A fellow Bird Game! I really really liked the cool reality bending platforming. However I didnt see how it related to the theme. But I would play more of this if there was more :)

I think the controls are actually really well done. however I think the environment could use some adjustment to work with the controls. I felt there were a bit too many jumps and not enough opportunities for me to zoom by. However I didn't get to play it for very long. I LOVE how it plays on the original gameboy!!!! if I played on that I bet it would feel right at home <3

This was originally my gameplan however I found it a bit unfair with how the blocks fell at random with random colors. I was trying to find a unique way to move blocks but I couldn't think of anything exciting haha. Perhaps next time!!!

totally agree with you on it. I originally planned for power ups to make it easier to destroy multiple blocks at once but I ran out of time. Perhaps I’ll add it later!

thank you! I was struggling to try and make it easy to approach. If I had more time I bet I could have figured it out!

I spent the weekend participating in the Mini Jam #194 Hosted by ZahranW

the theme was toxic which brought my favorite animal to mind, the goose.

The mandatory theme was everything can die. I had struggled with this idea initially however I landed on a fun puzzle/action platformer where you destroy blocks to prevent them from reaching the critical threshold and blue screening your game.

Id greatly appreciate some feedback on the game! You can play it here

also for the ending of the game. your not missing anything. the fate maker is proud of you and tells you he apologizes for the sneaky ending. the game ends with him leaving and that's it. not much of an ending haha

Hello! thanks for leaving such a big review on my game!!! there is no difference between the jam version and the regular version. there is actually a bug in the game where the dice don't change difficulty until the last level. I did not have enough time to fix this! (I should go back and fix it actually). The 10 seconds is intentional. I didn't have anyone to playtest my game and was told by many people that it is far too difficult which I agree with. I also didn't quite think about azerty users when making this game. I bet that was very frustrating! The points system was actually supposed to be a currency to buy things from the fate maker. for example if I had the time I was going to allow you to gamble your winnings to see if you could get a better sword or shield, or perhaps more time on the timer. Easier enemies, etc. I however was lacking time at the end and just had to settle with random weapons. The game is honestly far from its finish and I wish I had a week to work on it instead of the 50 hours allotted! I greatly appreciate your feed back :) thank you for playing my game. perhaps if you go back to visit your navigator game and finish it I can play it!

the rolling is a lot of fun and the art is so pretty!!! great work :)

so cute!!!

i was struggling with controls! I haven’t even thought of that idea! If I update I’ll make sure to include :)

thank you for the feed back! A lot of the random I had planned for didn’t quite make it into the game due to the 48 hour window. I had decided to use a lot more dice themed elements to hopefully not be disqualified. There are random weapons which are gifted to you. I appreciate the feed back :)

i have not implemented such a feature yet however I can make that happen :)

interesting and fun experience :)

love the dice stats! Same points as the other people have mentioned :)

thank you very much!

Thank you for the feedback. The timer is supposed to reset at the end of each level. The very last level starts you off with only 10 seconds. You either made it to that or found a bug. All and all I appreciate your feedback :)

charming, would love to see it with some more polish!

this game is awesome. I love your take on dungeon crawling. keep up the work!

while its not my type of game, I can appreciate the work put into it! awesome work.

I enjoyed it! hope to see more with the dice themed elements you were planning :)

I love the art style. feels right at home! really unique idea too

nice work!

sleek and fun! good work
