Hi,

I really enjoyed reading through the manual. It looks like a lot of work went into this game. When I try to play it in web, the mouse sensitivity is so high that I can't really click things. Let me know if you get it fixed.

Hi,

This sort of broke my brain. You didn't make a game, you made an AI reality tv show. What a cool concept. And the production values were super impressive. Great camera work.

Hi,

When I run the .exe, a terminal window opens, I see "the computer rolled a: <some number>", then it pauses, then the terminal fills with text that looks like an error message and closes. I'd like to play the game, it sounds cool from the readme.

By the way, I am putting a team together for the upcoming jam in January. Would you be interested in collaborating?

Absolutely beautiful art.

I almost quit in the first five minutes when I was just being told what to do. I liked when you sort of inverted that expectation of always being told what to do by having the objective be "???". There were some eerie moments. The lone figure in the outside the first time the green light starts flashing was spooky. Overall though, I feel like the story wasn't totally fleshed out. Like, who were these two alien races and what was at stake and what exactly did I do to save us? Also I would have liked some more player agency, maybe more moments where I have a goal but I don't know how to accomplish it.

Oh I forgot to say that the sound and animation of the satellite dish turning on and rotating was incredible. It sounded so good, I could feel the weight of it. Really well done there.

I didn't finish the game, but I was impressed. The start had good pacing. When I began exploring inland, and I came upon the tall black mountain for the first time, it made a real impression after all that flat ice, it was a cool moment. Also, I don't know if it was on purpose, but after I followed the trail of blood out and found Scotty, I looked up and at that moment saw my first monster off in the distance. The timing there felt perfect. Like I said, an impressive creation. How did you come up with the concept?

Indie, send it to bobanducci90@gmail.com. I'll distribute.

Hi, congrats on finishing the jam. Here's my review:

Nice art.

It really needs sound effects. Walking, attacking, etc.

I died twice on the first boss when I tried fighting him solo. Is it possible to beat him solo? You need to summon a companion, right? I tried convincing a companion to join me. I got his spirit up to 53. Then there was a bug, and the LLM stopped responding. It was stuck in "Thinking..." forever. I went to talk to a different companion, but they were also stuck on "Thinking...". So I restarted, tried talking to one again, and after my first message to him, he got stuck on "thinking...". At that point I gave up, because I don't think its possible to beat the first boss solo, right? I only have two attacks to choose from and he kills me before I can kill him.

Frank, thanks for the great feedback! I'll let Ruru know you loved the graphics.

The final survivor is supposed to wait for you to draw the alien away from this location before he is willing to come down. Finding him, and then using the rocks to trick the alien into going away, we thought would make for an interesting puzzle.  Did you have to make the alien move away before he was willing to come down? It's possible the LLM ignored that condition and just came down when you asked him, ignoring the presence of the alien.
