That sounds awesome — a toolkit style book with templates and checklists would make things so much easier for creators. I’d definitely be interested in that, and I’m excited to see how it develops!

Hi there,

I’ve picked up a lot of your solo RPGs and really enjoy them. I especially liked How to Create Your Own RPG—it’s inspiring and easy to follow. I was wondering if you’d ever consider making a follow-up or expanded version.

What I’d love to see is a version that’s a bit more direct, with less example text and more step-by-step structure—almost like a practical handbook. Stuff like a clearer order of operations (mechanics to prototype to world to playtesting to polish), more guidance on scope (zine vs. corebook and how much is “enough”), practical templates or checklists for things like character creation and resolution mechanics, and some advice on publishing and presentation earlier in the process instead of only at the end.

I think something like that would be incredibly useful, and I’d definitely grab it if you ever made it.

Thanks again, your work’s been really motivating.
