Ah I have fixed it. Idk fully how or why but when I moved the script from a common event to a random one just to test it started working again. Sorry for wasting your time.

Just gave that a shot and it did not work. Updated my original post btw.

I dont know why, but I can not drag or resize text boxes. It was working fine before, then out of nowhere, when I clicked on text, the edges of the screen would turn green, and nothing would work till I reset the dev mode. Strange bit is, its only one text. All my other text boxes work fine.
