I saw your comment a couple days ago and now finally got around to your game, I really liked it! I also left you a rating and a comment!

Thank you! Your game was fun, i left a rating and some feedback!

I had a lot of fun! It's pretty straightforward, but side stepping (or side flying i guess) the bullets while getting shots off is fun! And chasing down the enemies to finish them off makes me feel a bit evil but its fun! I only wish there was a bit more to do! But good job!

This game is very simple, but it's a nice little project that does exactly what it aims to do! I think it could've for sure been a bit longer, as in this state it feels super short, but it is fun!

Wow this one was a lot of fun! I found myself a bit sad when it ended actually! I remember seeing your little scene as soon as the game jam started and thinking "what could this possibly turn into" and it turns out the answer was fireeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks for playing! I left some feedback for you!

Nice and simple, but addicting! Love how easy it is to get into, and the gameplay feels nice and rewarding, though it could use some variation to add difficulty other than simply speeding up, as that leads to a very strict score ceiling, at least for me.

Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up! Speed up!

Thanks for playing! I just played yours as well and had a blast! It's really fun!

Really fun! I love vampire survivor-like games and this one was really simple and addicting! The fun art and music really help too, great work!

In case all these wasn't too much already, feel free to check out mine! https://klover7.itch.io/simpler-golf

I left a comment on your submission, I really liked it!!!

Had to switch browsers to play it (for some reason the download wasn't working) but it was worth it! I kinda suck at these types of games, but I had a lot of fun! I got over 10k which I'm proud of. The gameplay is smooth and the inclusion of the enemies and their skeleton blocks added a really unique layer and charm to the whole thing which I adored. Really good stuff!

I played your game and left some feedback! I see great potential in your future game making! And i'm always a sucker for Undertale music

This brings me back to the old days, where I was so into creepypastas I was scared to run any file that said .exe because I thought that meant it was haunted. Fun throwback with interesting ideas brought into it, and really captured the vibe of those old games that used to scare me! I think it would benefit from a lot of polish, like in moments where the enemies are talking to you, the music would be constantly looping with each change of dialogue, and the dialogue boxes would stack on top of each other so I couldn't even read the text. I think the fights were fun, and it genuinely had a decently spooky atmosphere at times. Great job and keep at it!

Your game was super cute! I left a comment on it!

This game was really cute! Found myself a bit stuck on how to proceed a few times, but I enjoyed the atmosphere of it all!!

Thank you so much! I just played yours as well and I loved it!!!!!

Great game! I used to love playing PvZ on my phone when I was forced to be somewhere I didn't wanna be as a kid! Like some other people here, I had an issue in the first few levels where some tiles at the bottom just didn't let me place a robot, but it seemed to sort out later, or perhaps I just stopped causing whatever caused the issue. I think the first few levels in general are a bit confusing, I was pretty lost on what I was doing, what each robot did, etc. And that is my fault bc I didn't wanna read everything in the almanac. But I'm actually glad I didn't, because I was pleasantly surprised as new enemies kept showing up as I progressed through the levels! And I think their designs were intuitive enough for me to figure out how to deal with them all on my own! I had a blast after about level 2, once things started picking up and I got into the flow of things, really fun game!!!

Hello all you wonderful people! Want even more feedback on your game? Well here I am! All I ask first is that you check out and rate my game, and at least a few other peoples in this thread (assuming there’s anyone at all) and we can begin yet another rating trade! I’ll provide lengthy feedback on your game on top of the rating, of course!

Check out my game! https://klover7.itch.io/simpler-golf

Thank you! And yeah, I assume you mean shooting and the ball not exactly following the trajectory line, that's because I made it and really had no idea what I was doing! I'm glad you enjoyed though!!!

I really like this one! Super simple but really engaging, took my a few tries but I eventually won! I'm wondering if the fact I could hear the cat before the door opened was intentional or not? Once I realized that's what the sound was it became a bit too easy, but still I had fun!

This game is AMAZING! Super duper fun to play, and the art is beautiful! Definitely one of the best in this jam, really impressive stuff!

Yeah that's a good point actually, it's something I ran into as well when I was first testing, but ended up kinda forgetting about it cause of how much I was testing it. If I could change it I'd leave the cam to the arrow keys and nudges to the WASD, probably. But i'm glad you enjoyed it!!! Thanks for the feedback!

For sure!

Really fun! Super tough! It ramps up super fast, no way I can reach the end, sadly. But I loved it!

Everyone already said it but i'm saying it as well, super duper fun. Really excited to see future updates!

i like parry

One of the view 'retro' games that actually felt like it was pulled from an old console. It's simple and elegantly done, great job!

Glorious glorious!!! Bravo bravo!!! Incredible!!! Amazing!!!!! Brilliant!!! Fantastic!!!!

I initially thought I wouldn't like this one, but I really found myself leaning into the way the controls worked! I loved speeding through the levels as fast as I could it made me feel like a speedrunner. Great job! One thing is that I couldn't really hear any of the sounds in the game, but otherwise it was super fun!!

Awesome game!!!! I had a great time, made my head spin a bit but we lock in and win despite that! Love the message too, super cute stuff, loved it!

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed my silliness! And yeah, in retrospect I should’ve added some alternate controls for touchpads, sorry!

Yes!!! I love Ballerina!!!!!!

I'm glad you liked it! I understand it's a bit too difficult, I would've loved to tweak the levels to be a bit more intuitive (especially the last one) but just kinda ran out of time before I could finish any balance. Thanks for your feedback!!!

Hello! I'll check out yours and any other games in this thread! And feel free to check out mine!
It's a golf game with some silly characters that might be a bit difficult at times... https://klover7.itch.io/simpler-golf

Hello! I rated your game, it was super fun, super creative!

My game is Simpler Golf (https://klover7.itch.io/simpler-golf), I’d super appreciate a rating and to know what you thought!

Thank you so much!! Would've loved adding a mini-map but it probably would've taken me like 2 whole days, I'm glad you liked it though!

Yeah I see it! I'm having the same issue on mine actually! Can you see if you see "Simpler Golf" on there for me?

For sure, and I'll check out yours as well when it's done! Been having the same problem of wasting time but I can chalk it up to learning at least! Honestly for me the art has been the toughest part, it's for sure my weakest skill, but I've been making due nonetheless!

Been going great for me! I'm worrying on if I'll be able to finish in time, but i'm mostly just enjoying the process! Glad you've been having a great time as well!
