It's so sweet that you even shared your anecdote with us; it actually made very happy to read it, i like sm that you could enjoy our game that way cx
I'm actually taking a lot of notes; i think getting more testers might be a good idea for our next jam. But thinking about it, I think we should start doing a better job when making tutorials xD
Tysm again, i love your entry btw <3
if the answer is a yes, please play Robo Rush R: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4190264
OK THIS GAME IS ISANE. BOGEY MAN IS MY MAN I LOVE HIM, CUZ I ALSO HATE FUN AND GOLF
being fr at first I thought it would be something like Kirby's Dream Course, which doesn't bother me because I love that game, but the more I played it, the more unique features it revealed that made me fall in love with it. It's super adorable, funny, and more challenging than it seems. It's insane that you managed to do something so amazing all by yourself in just one week! You're definitely in my top 3!
btw, I laughed a lot near the grand finale lolol
ok!! im playing yours rn! here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4190264

hmm, it's weird to say, but 50/50. Theo and I have been individually trying to create games since last year, projects we haven't finished yet or that we'll pick up again when we're better devs. Neither of us has actually finished a game until now, when we finished our submission. Robo Rush R is our only public and finished game XD. Before, we did things like FNF mods and other mod stuff. For example, I made personal TBOI mods just for fun. we gained more experience from there. we each knew about art, music, and programming, but we divided up the work according to our specializations, and we had a very enjoyable workflow, developing from morning until the very late night lol while helping our families and keeping in touch with our closest relationships, like our partners and closest friends. Telling your loved ones what you're doing and involving them in what you love to do makes them feel included and an important part of what you're creating. When we finally launched the game and saw it on the submission list, I was super happy and celebrated with our friends on voice chat. My family heard us celebrating, so right there on the voice chat, they congratulated me and gave me a hug. It was such a beautiful experience, honestly. I'm already looking forward to participating in another jam, for real XD
I think I talked too much, lol! tysm Tain!
but that's excellent, twin, really! In my case, this wasn't my first, second, or third game, but the fourth I've tried to make (there might even have been more attempts I don't remember rn lol), and really the only one I've actually finished in my life so far xD
I'd be so proud if I were u, I mean, having your first game completely finished is insane!
when Theo and I played this game near the beginning of the jam, we were expecting a character to stalk us, a weird and freaky guy, but then we saw an AMOGUS hidden among the corn cobs. It feels quite like a game I would play in a computer lab as a kid when I should have been learning Excel. Really solid entry, good job fr!!
ayooo another tower defense!!
i've seen quite a bit in the dc jam chat how much effort u've put into creating your game, and I can only say that I'm incredibly proud of you. If you continue to improve with love and dedication to this beautiful art of creation, I'm absolutely convinced you could be even greater than you think! I believe in you!
