Thanks, Ruben!

The theme for our game jam has been announced! We have a two way tie.  We decided as a group to honor both themes: synesthesia and hunted.  You can choose either one, but if you're able to combine both themes, your game should be regarded with a higher point value.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our list of themes!  It's time to begin the selection process. Please complete this form by Saturday, November 1 at 6:00 PM CST. On November 2, we'll narrow the list to the top five themes and begin the second and final round of voting: https://forms.gle/dJgyaixYUhBrb8AE9.

If anyone would like to contribute to the list of potential themes, we have a form here: https://forms.gle/eh1o48DeiXyS7Dwd9.  We'll be accepting entries until Oct 25 at 6 PM CST.  The first round of voting to select a theme will begin the next day.

Thank you for the great feedback!  I really need to prioritize the development of an in-game explanation for the currency system, so I appreciate you reminding me of that concern.  When you complete a level for the first time, your score is added to the amount of money you have in the game, but if you replay a completed level, the amount of money you earn should be the difference between your new high score and previous high score.  It's a bit unintuitive, but it's meant to incentivize seeking a higher score.  As a solo-dev, I don't want to overpromise, especially when it comes to the timeline, but I intend to polish this demo before continuing the development of the full game, and I hope that at least some of your concerns will be addressed with future updates.

Thank you again for taking the time to play my game and provide feedback!  I'm glad it was fun!

I don't think I'm in the demographic for these types of games, since they tend to stress me out a lot, but I like the atmosphere you've created and your pixel art!  The background changing is a really nice touch too!
