Congrats on having the new highest score!!!!👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉
So basically you saved homework, then movies and then?I am curious as to how you beat Mcfluff with a different strategy.
Tell me if you think there's anything to improve!
I played your game just now, fun game, but I didn't understand what the minimum and maximum year do.
Congrats again🫡🫡🫡👏👏👏👏👏
I like the suggestion and tbh I've been thinking about your feedback all day and I came up with a solution. I am considering changing the uploading phase so that instead of waiting, you'll have to click a button which appears randomly (or will stay in place. I have yet to decide) and you'll have to click it more times depending on the file size.
Yeah, fr about the time pressure. I felt it so much too. Was looking like this to finish the game.
Yeah, it was SO STRESSFUL, 2 minutes before the deadline MY WIFI WENT OUT!! I legit had a heart attack💀. Thank god I had my ethernet cable ready to go and the wifi recovered just in time😅.
Insane record!🤯 You COMPLETELY DESTROYED mine. And I'm the dev! I can't even count the amount of times I play tested it and tried to find out the max amount you could save. Congrats 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🫡🫡
About the speed: yeah, you need to be fast by design, tell me if you think the speed is too high because I designed it to be fast and my mouse is set to 4800DPI so it's probably a bit faster than the one of the average player.😅
In conclusion, congrats!! You beat the dev!👏👏👏🫡🫡🫡
Hey, thx for the feedback!
When you say that saving files should require more action by the player do you mean in the uploading stage?
I tried your game too, one my favs from the game jam. Only thing I'd say is that there doesn't seem to be any consequences to have any of the stats low, especially piety. Maybe you could increase the hostility with which people treat you if you have low piety. Also maybe a date by which you have to arrive would give the player a bugger sense of urgency and incentivise them to risk their rations to go faster. Last but not least for me the game just blocked itself halfway through anatolia, I had the event but the buttons weren't interactable.
Thanks for the feedback!
Basically you suggest adding some sort of subfolders through a directory system?? (I am genuinely interested)
When it comes to the multiple files at once it could work but I did want the game to require some decision making elements and for the player to think on the fly about which files to save to maximize the amount of data that gets saved.
I agree with you about having to pick better what the folders were tho because in the rush I did essentially just add any idea I thought people would want to save and random things. For example City Builder is there because I was playing Cities Skylines when I came up with the idea for the game lol.
And finally as for the times I must admit that those were assigned quite randomly except for the fact that I knew that I wanted mostly medium sized files in the 300-700MB range.
Thanks though, I'll attempt to fix those discrepancies for the GMTK Game Jam.
I checked out your submission while I was at it and i must say you have a very robust movement system. The slamming down on the ground while airborne is especially satisfying. Only thing I'd note though is that I found that the character tends to slam often into the wall without initiating a wall run. Except that, solid movement system. 👍
Hi, I'm the dev of this game. I hope you guys will enjoy it even though it's very rough. I would've liked to make it better but unfortunately I had to restart multiple times due to Unity not being able to build the game. If you guys have any feedback I'll gladly welcome it as I plan to add a few more features to the game and I am still a beginner so all feedback is welcome.
