Where's the game friend?

Loved some aspects of the game, and other aspects were just trippy. It was difficult to figure out the proper shape with a bunch of other shapes appearing all around you. Was I supposed to type the square since it was the largest? Was I supposed to use the small shape because it was the smallest? Was I supposed to type the shape that was blasting off the sides? It was difficult to pay attention to the text changing at the bottom of the screen. There was a lot happening in your face at once, but very few cues to what actually needed to be done with them. I did enjoy the concept and thought it was a fun attempt! Well done.
There seemed to be an issue with calculating the different values of the vectors. I spawned many of the different ones, but they gave me next to nothing in the conversion. It was easier to simply create a shape at the cost of 1 and then continually throw the resulting shape back into the machine for a value of 10 for free. I created all of the machines but there was not a clear end goal. I let the timer run out just to see what would happen. A few pieces were lost to being flung through the wall that allowed the pieces to pass through. I enjoyed unlocking new things, but I was overall confused in the direction to go.
This was a nice concept. The game was playable, but it was tough to complete. I felt that the scene being zoomed in rather close made it difficult to gauge the correct path on some parts without relying on memory and the grid lines. The most difficult part, which ultimately led to my surrendering to the game, is trying to gauge the jump distance on the circle. If you are moving too fast anywhere and jump, you can jump too far and land in the acid. This made for a frustrating experience when you were forced to restart the level on something that you could not see coming. I can see that a lot of hard work went into it and I do appreciate the grind!
Your game was the first game that I played in this jam. I was astounded in how similar the concepts were, nearly identical! I would love to say that great minds, think alike because we tossed around a few other concepts and almost made a game where you go back in time and beat up a bunch of people! I appreciate the play that you did and I love that you also enjoyed our implementation of the concept, but in slightly different fashions!
Well, it looking like I done gone and got myself killed real dead here friend. I like the story and concept that you're going for. Visual Novels aren't my favorite genre but I didn't mind this one all too much. I would say maybe consolidate some of the conversations into a smaller area, but so far I like what I see here.
CAPITALISM!!
I think I broke it! I really like the game and what it has to offer. A decent story where I am, but I need to tell you where I broke it at. I ran behind the thief and went to the neighborhood on the left. After that, I tried to come back and activate the thief but it opened some level with a giant ruby on a rooftop. The game is frozen here, I will reload my save.
I did get into combat with more than one enemy and defeated them both. I was then able to trigger the fight again by talking to the enemy that was left. Maybe destroy both actors when the fight is complete. Doesn't seem to have an actual ending though.
Other than that I am enjoying the combat system and the story. I'd only say adjust some of the collision boxes so that I can't walk through the bottom of the buildings and thins looks jam-tight-funky-fresh.
The audio still needs to be implemented but the files are there. The other runners are trying to steal your spotlight and you're supposed to knock them over and the guards are supposed to remove them from the field as well. I'll work on the AI a bit more. I'm enjoying this project. Thank you for your feedback!
