Well as I plan to change that anyways in the near future: - For the deer you just need to go to the sign activate it and than stand still for like 20 seconds. ^^ After that you can continue at the altar - the little deer-figurine should light up. Multiple lit up figurines will most likely always result in the same outcome since I check that in the code in a particular order...

Thank you ^^ Hehe okay I would not give too much hints, usually as it spoils the fun but in that case I might have something implemented that is a bit "unclear", which is the stone with the star on it - I did not have time yet to do other puzzles for the amount of species and also I have not yet come up with a way to communicate what it does: -> It changes the outcome of each Puzzle so if you got the AWD you actually solved the fennec puzzle and activated the star-stone. Or solving the Wolf Puzzle plus the Star-Stone will give you the Husky, and so on ~ It's a bit messy currently, and definately will be changed a bit in the future.

As for getting the other stuff... Someone already explained here in the commentary how to get the bat wolf and roo ^^;

The Deer is actually very easy to get as you almost have to do nothing for it after reading the sign... x)

:0 It should have one. It most likely is a bug. Thanks for mentioning it tho.I'll have a look into that.

As for discord: I have one for my fursuit-stuff but really don't use it that much and especially don't want to moderate multiple servers... but I can make a category on that anyways so there it is - please be aware that I might be slow in replying there... ~ https://discord.gg/YahSvgFD

Yeah exactly ^^ I would not say it's impossible but not worth the trouble. I should put my personal-ressources (meaning the time I take to work on this) first and foremost to the things that help the game move "forward" in a sense. Meaning developing the gameplay, story and the world with only necessary adjustments on the character. Further a thrid Person view would clash a bit with the basic idea I had with this game as an "Egosnooter" x)

The third Person view also has kind of an "psychological" effect that I don't want since it detaches the Player a bit more from the character in every way. ^^

Thank you! I was playing with the the idea with the tails too ^^ However I have to try some stuff before I can implement that ~ looking over your should to see your tail maybe works? But that needs some testing ~ it's difficult since usually one would not be able to see their backside of course. :3

(1 edit)

Well ~I don't know. I did not plan anything in that direction yet however the current system is expandable without toooooo much trouble. The only thing is ~ I'm not good at drawing Birds x) Maybe I'll try a phoenix or something since those are quite abstract enough to give me enough liberties to get it working. :3

I'm gonna do a Dev-Log tomorrow I think ^^ no promise tho~ There is alot of stuff I want to tackle in the future but I have to consider much factors on which decisions are reasonable within my abilities

Please don't click any "download" links in the comments here ~ Seems like some bots are using recently updated games to spread Malware...

Oh. I'm gonna look into that. Just guessing tho maybe your browser eats the input -Alternatively instead of "E" left- clicking should also work.

Currently there is no way back to that ^^ - however I'm working on making a functioning Game out of the mechanics. Currently all that stuff already is in the Game but not used at all (If you get to the cave with different animals you can actually notice some differences [that the bat can't jump very high and even can glide while in air when ctrl is pressed and the kangaroo is quite fast and has way better jumping capabilities (...)]) ~ I never build a Game before so I still have to learn a lot of stuff ~ especially about Level design and such ^^;

Thank you ^^

Thanks for the feedback :3 Sprinting is a good point actually - I added it ^^

As for the real-Time TF: I'll play arround a bit with the idea. The biggest problem ist that I have to come up with a way that makes it kind of "managable" so that I don't have to draw dozens of inbetween sprites for each form - But maybe I can make a nice shader that does that. :3

Glad you liked it. Thanks for the kind words ^^

Thanks for the Feedback :) I'll try to think of something to make it more clear on what to do without spoilering it tooo much x)

PS. (seeing you Username): Your Marten-Animations are awesome :D

I admit the game lacks a bit of explanation on the second phase. ^^ Sooo I'll try to give some hints without spoilering toooo much. Think a bit of what the corresponding animal can do ~ Kangaroos Jump, Bats match sounds, Wolfs sniff... x)

thanks for the Feedback :) I know it's most likely to a lack of explanation by the game. I'll try to improve on that in future versions. The gist of the second phases is usually just "adjustment" to the new form which means doing things that resamble that. Bat has to find things via Sonar, Wolf via Sniffing and Kangaroo has to learn how to use it's legs. ^^

Glad you like it. :D

The first person-view was actually even my main focus in the development process... x) Many games have something similar but don't use it for immersion, even tho it's one of the most immersive things games can do.

(It took like 1/3 of the development time to get it working as it is now and obviously it still can be improved. The rest of the game is more or less build arround the 3 Forms I had working by then... Anyway it's easily expandable now which I'm planning to do ^^)
