Thanks! Writing is definitely the skillset I come into writing VNs with practice in, so hearing that the music and visuals managed to work out too is honestly a relief!

Interesting little story, but I would have liked more! Obviously that's only so valid as a piece of feedback on a game jam game, but this kind of story thrives (what a word to use for the themes here) in specifics and detail! Not a bad effort at all, though.

Fun little short story!

Neat! I'd recommend having someone to do an editing pass before any longer/non-jam project (I don't know if English is your first language or not, but there's a lot of errors specifically with prepositions and transition words that a quick edit could clean up), but not a bad effort!

An interesting start! I liked that you didn't feel the need to exposit too much when it came to the world, but I felt like this wasn't quite enough for me to go on as a reader in terms of really engaging with what's going on in the story. Good bones, but the meat needs some work - and some music and sound effects would go a long way as well!

Listen, I'm weak to stories about mysterious things happening to teenagers in small towns, but this was neat! Loved the art and the story! Well done.

What a cute little game! The world needs more Spooky Little Guys (gender-neutral) - would love to see something longer-form with these characters!

Cute!! Love a fun little story about working a funny little job and meeting ghosts! This can and does happen in Chicago I'm sure.

I really dug this! Cool aesthetic, just enough worldbuilding to really pop, great stuff! I'm going to have Scarborough Fair stuck in my head forever now, but there are worse fates.

Half of why I love game jams really is "someone will toss in an 8.5k vn about victorian mishandling of mummies made for the game boy color" and thank god honestly. Fantastic use of your... sub-medium, I guess? Very cool old adventure game vibes.

What a cute little game that in no way reminds me of the current situation in the world I live in! Oh to have a little guy to help me out with surveys.

Really interesting! I like the art, and the voice acting is strong, and I think there are some really good ideas in here! By the time the game started messing with loops and the like, I figured out what it was doing, but one major area that I think could be jazzed up (so to speak) is the reflection's dialogue before you get into the more complex stuff - while I'm not going to call the long speeches about the issues the game touches on irrelevant by any stretch, one thing that really works to break up these big monologues is specific details that the reader can hit (you have a couple good metaphors in there already with the fruit and one line I loved about a house in the winter) so that the reader can stay engaged. It would be a great opportunity to give more specific details about the characters as well, if that's something you're interested in, but without that more direct and specific language I found myself without a way to really connect to what was being said, and not in the way I think you meant!

Great stuff overall, though, and excited to see where you go from here with this project if you continue to refine it, or hope to see you around with something else if you don't!

Oh, I loved this! The combination of art and filter really hit - for whatever reason, it really made me think of a Nintendo DS vn specifically? I've only gotten through one ending, since I'm trying to play and review as many entries as I can, but I'll definitely be coming back around to it!

A fun little game! Could have used another editing pass for typos and maybe a little more environmental description, but those are hardly flaws I can think to hold against a game jam game.

Solid "fun little flash game from the 00s" vibes.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Probably, and it's definitely something I'll look into! Thanks for the reminder to track down how to do that - it's just not something I've done before and it didn't occur to me in the rush to get the game done.

definitely the first thing I would have done if I had more time, haha! thanks!
