Thank you for playing our game!

That was a feature. It's like a flickering light bulb in a thriller! It's supposed to create an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's like working with an old computer.

Of course, in a normal-length game, this shouldn't be used with such high parameters. But as for a game jam... What do you think?

Ha! I definitely agree with you about .docx files! If we continue working on this game, we should definitely do that. We also thought it would be nice to be able to collapse a window and see the background, which should be an image of a brain. This image is present in the game descriptions on the listing page, but not in the game itself. The desktop could also have a few more icons/apps, like the ones in your game.

By the way, since the game jam, I've played a 'oneshot' game. It incorporates elements from outside the game. I won't give any spoilers away. But our idea is not unique. No, we didn't know about that game – it's just a coincidence. But we did know about 'That Level Again'... Anyway...

Thank you for your comment!

Incidentally, some elements were inspired by Twin Peaks.

I think the minimalist style set the atmosphere. I felt that the final choice was significant — I went with the 'chat', but I didn't fully understand the ending. This may be because of my poor English. Is it about lying bloggers? Anyway, it was quite a good time. Thanks for the experience! (^.^)

Hey! Thank you for playing our game!

1. You are right: 'Tray again? No' is a feature and a kind of paradox. We are used to thinking of it as an issue. But the question doesn't mean this directly. In this case, we have to choose 'No' to complete the game. Not to try the previous steps again.

2. On the next screen, the picture with the time 22:22 is the key. You have to change the time to complete the exact puzzle.

3. Note that there are at least two more non-obvious things. I've just added a help/tutorial to our repository: https://github.com/ThePotat0/PARAdotDOCX/blob/main/HELP.md (To avoid giving too many direct hints right here ;))

I'll also add this link to the description page.

4. And yes, I think games like this SHOULD have hints built into the game itself. But we didn't have enough time for this. Sorry (^.^)

I like it. How much of it did you do yourself?

Cool and fun. But I was not able to finish level :'(
All of the characters, except for one, are already outside :|

Tysm!

BTW: your game is really cool too! I got island 5. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to play more. Maybe I will try later ;)

Thank you :).

Easy to learn, hard to master ;)
But honestly, obstacles are really too random (^^)

Nice introduction. But I don't really get how to find at least one crystal (^^)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll think about it.

And thanks for the kind words!
