hmm, so, kinda. Ultimately I am just working a job that I end up having to sink way to many hours in to properly maintain this anymore sadly. Sasha pushed updates to the repo on occasion, I also maybe add smthn every 3 or so months, but yeah, there isn’t much more work to be done, the issue is I simply dont have the time to do it. Realistically we need the community to go through funger and termina, while having the debug menu open and record a bunch of data for us, then it would be fairly easy to finish, but we just don’t have the time to gather that data sadly.

the main issue with this mod, is that because of how autorun events work, and how some switches need to be client side only and some need to be serverside, realistically we need a list of all switches that need to be server/client side and that would resolve the majority of issues with the mod

Should be in the main mod loader.js file, you’ll be looking to comment out a go to instruction, it might be like push() on an array or like scene_push, something like that, and it’ll probably be pushing something like MenuScene or MainScene maybe GameSence probably not MapScene tho, but yeah I think that’s what skips the happy paintings logo but ngl haven’t touched that part of the code in ages.

read the top of that page. the mod loader only works for pljugin based mods, overhaul mods are compatible with the mod loader, some might give you trouble if u try to mix too many, just follow their instructions

You just enable the mp mod, one person hosts,the other clicks join, the host copies the code and sends it to the others, the others type the code in and click connect. Once you see their names in the lobby the host hits “start game” ideally host should always load in first for optimal results.

not sure id say funger is a horny game, like its similar to berserk in my opinion, you know fan disservice, not fan service. Cus like there are very few sex scenes in funger that are consensual, idk I mean I suppose some people like that, but ehh I only really see it as horror tbh.

the intro is the most buggy, I did play for a few hours in termina multiplayer, when using devtools and quick saves it was fine, we encountered a lot of bugs but usualyl saving frequently we could just rollback to a previous save. But yeah, its definitly buggy and practically requires devtools and quicksaves to be used. As for prio, unfortunetly the whole project is kinda low priority to me right now, Im just trying to make rent tbh :3

but yeah for termina multiplayer, make charecters with the mod off, get through the intro and save, and then load the chars into a game. If you want to test without any friends you can launch multiple clients at the same time and connect them to eachother (you have to edit the settings.json’s “name” field to anything else to launch a second copy).

ohhh I see… must be a id issue i would guess termina changed the ID of the real hurting skill or smthn, since Miro doesn’t rlly stay consistant. But to be honest I dont really have any intent to revisit most of the mods at this point, I think this project is pretty much finished apart from the multiplayer mod, which ill update some more occationally.

Im not sure that was ever tested for termina, though assuming the skill ID is the same it still will likely work. You do not need a keybind or anything you just activate the skill from your skills menu while in the overworld, I think it randomly targets an enemy nearby and enables one of the flags that should indicate they are missing a limb. Not sure though havn’t touched that mod in a long time.

I do update the mod loader and multiplayer mod from time to time (I actually just released a new version to this a few days ago). As to if ill ever finish it to the extent that its properly not buggy… idk

it does not appear to be. I was able to rejoin on an alt with that link and I have verified it is still active in the server settings.

becouse I dont want comments on this thread as its very annoying to manage itch comment threads, also the mod’s download and install links are also in the first 2 paragraphs. Ultimately the goal of doing that is to get people to join the discord since a lot of people need modding help and its easy to manage in the discord itself rather than having to tell a lot of people in this thread to go to the discord.

While it might not be the most sound logic, it has seemed to work quite well as to avoid confused people commenting on this thread instead of on the discord, unlike with the mod loader post itself where most people comment on the thread itself.

Im not entirely sure how to help, on mac the game files are ususally compressed into mac’s equivalent of an executable, so if you can uncompress the files or open that executable maybe then you can add it to the www folder which does exist within the file somewhere. The mod will run on mac and people have gotten it working in the discord, but it is usually a case by case kind of thing, and we dont have concreate install instructions on how to get it working, sorry if thats not the answer you had hoped for.

ummm, not sure what you mean. What law do you think that breaks? Ive read through all of the TOS of itch and there is nothing about having to host files directly on itch and when setting up a itch project they explicitly allow you to host your files externally.

May I remind you, the discord does not have anything this page does not (other than helpers to help ppl install mods), the link to the github and install instructions are the only things you need to install the mod. Additionally, if you are not aware, itch allows you to set the product as a externally hosted file, so if someone does choose to donate to the project, the download link will just point to the github’s latest stable release.

hmmmmmmmmmmm…… so a few things could be happening here, its likely some issue with the encryption that rpgmaker uses. If you didn’t decrypt you game files try decrypting them. If you alraedy did decrypt them go to the github releases page and roll back your mod loader to this version: https://github.com/mattieFM/FearAndHungerModManager/releases/tag/v1.0.6/ unless you are using the multiplayer mod this one should work, just make sure to decrpyt your files (a easy to use decrypter is linked in the #readme of the discord (https://discord.gg/cxRfmDhS)

Not easily. you could use the dev menu and ctrl f around to toggle of the switch but you would also need to open your terminal and remove the armor, something close to “$gameParty.leader()._equips=[]” would void all eqiupment I think

you can go to the releases page and try an older version. The newer ones really only edited multiplayer, so it should be all good in terms of the mods your using.

this is an issue that is somewhat resolved in the experimental releases as well, but those are unstable so I do not recommend using them given you don’t need their features.

oh, if you mean from the decrypter, idk. about the link posted, there is one in the discord that is safe.

Sorry, I think you must’ve misunderstood something. You do not ever need to hit tab to see anything. The mods option will just be present on the main menu. If the guide is too difficult to follow I highly recommend using the installer instead (assuming you are on windows). Otherwise manual install is very simple. You just copy the folder with the mods into the folder of fear and hunger and click “replace matching files.”

Take that with a grain of salt, this is a mod loader not a mod. The mod loader dynamically edits other files to attempt to ensure compatability with all mods, but sometimes there is a conflict between mods editing the same files, in which case the loader attempts to resolve the issue. But yup, for the most part it should work with all plugin based mods and most overhaul mods such as the one above.

open keybinds, rebind CHEAT to whatever key you want, sometimes the keybinds break, jsut rebind them to fix.
