Cool concept and idea! I really liked the theme of Simplifier and how the enemies represent things like wasted time and anxiety. It’s a great first game!
Really fun and dynamic game!! Even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy platformers, I had a great time with this one. The music and visuals are high quality, and the controls feel really smooth and responsive.
My only small issue was the boss fight at first it was hard to understand what was going on, and I didn’t immediately realize I was supposed to damage the boss since there was no HP bar. Other than that, this is the most polished game I played in this jam!

Really fun idea! a couple of things felt confusing for me though. I really missed having optional camera control on A/D maybe relying only on the mouse is part of the intended difficulty, but it felt a bit hard for me.
I also struggled with the eye mechanic (I didn’t notice it on the game page at first). It would be great if the game explained why you died after death. Overall, a very fun and creative idea!!
Neat concept! I really like how the game combines different retro eras into a single game, def a 5/5 connection to the theme. The presentation is great, each style is well translated. Gameplay felt a bit repetitive for me, especially having to start over every time, which slightly reduced the enjoyment but that’s more of a personal preference. Overall, a very cool and creative idea!
