I use Malwarebytes together with windows defender. 

Windows Defender kept deleting the .zip so that I had to actively recover it, but after I've scanned it both with Malwarebytes and ran the files through VirusTotal it looks clean now.

Verdict: Most likely windows defender being confused

Got a  wacapew warning when downloading the demo. Either something wormed itself into the game or the dev is trying to do some questionable things. Might also be a false positive, but both Malwarebytes and Windows Security really don't like the .zip
