Oh damn, you're right.  Wonder if the other dev is wondering why I'm talking about mushrooms on their game!

Hitting a mushroom chain for the first time is very satisfying.  Good job! :)

Top marks for the style and audio alone!  Definitely a lot of fun.

The vibes in this game are amazing, somehow feel relaxed despite getting my ass handed to me by my lack of timing!

I would actually play a full release version of this game, really well done!

Really good idea, was hoping that as I ate I would grow and be able to eat other bigger bacteria.  Lot of fun, would consume food again.

Very chill game.  The land expansion mechanic reminds me of a game called Bastion which is always a good thing.

Like the idea, very chill and the art is great!

Love the mechanic of expanding your arena with the bodies of your enemies!

Originally thought I had to avoid the chillis or I'd take damage so was playing an unintentional hard mode for a while!  A lot of fun though, good job.

Lots of fun and amazing art on this one!

One of my favourites from the jam so far, for sure.  Feels really good to play and the music and general ambience is almost cosy.

Really loved this one.  Accidentally clicked on the Itch navigation link to your profile and lost 10 minutes of progress, it was a sad moment!

Super hard but a lot of fun, love the art style as well. :)

Love the art on this one, very chill!  Only critique I have is that it wasn't clear that I had to click on the planet to drag it into the scene as hovering over the planet information caused the element to focus.  Small complaint though! :)

Very clever interpretation of the theme, very Stanley Parable vibes!  May have spent too long doing fake spreadsheets for fake money instead of doing my actual day job for real money.

Hate raking leaves in release life, spends 10 minutes raking pixel leaves.  Pretty fun!

Love this game!  There's been a few of these chill growing games this jam and I've loved every one.  Think I'm learning about a genre I didn't know I needed in my life.

Really dig this, played it for 20 minutes during a morning meeting and wanted to keep my little mycelium going!  5 stars all around.

Pretty fun game and a great first jam entry!  :)  One comment though, esc exits full screen on the web version of the game so trying to close the shop was a pain but only a small pain.

Great first Jam game.  I loved the final screen where the count of nuts collected falls on the pumpkin, very reminiscent of Crash Bandicoot!

Rock hard but a lot of fun.  Wish I could give bonus points for the level name UI at the start of each level!

Thanks for the feedback!  :)

Thanks for the feedback, checkpoints would definitely be a bonus although I think if I was to expand I'd probably do a bit more investigation into good level design so they might not be needed.  Turns out level design is hard!

Ah sorry that happened, motion sickness wasn't something that I considered but for future jams I'll make an effort to try and put things like screen shake behind a setting that can be disabled.  Really hope the sick feeling was short-lived!

Thought I'd review a few entries during a work meeting, spent 30 minutes trying to get to the top.  Great fun!

Great game and excellent art!  The side scrolling POV was giving me major Awesomenauts vibes so bonus points for that.

Damn those rabbits get down quickly!  Good idea and very fun to try and top the leader board.

Love the 80s aesthetic of the game and could definitely see this as an expanded idea with different type of jobs to do.

Loved playing this submission.  Have no musical ability but after placing a few towers I had a bit of a beat going.
