I agree that I really should have made the music loop much, much longer, that's definitely a skill I need to improve.


Also, yeah I was intending to increase the movement speed but it kept slipping my mind.


What I wanted to add but ran out of time (besides for more block types and bullet patterns) was bullets which would hit the tower and nudge the blocks there. You would need to block them then withthem with your ship, kinda like an opposite version of what is already there.

I really like the art and the style.

The movement felt way too fast.

I'm sure the rest of the song was good, but I died so fast, so many times. I'm not great at bullet hells in general though...

I like the designs and the music a lot.

My opinions on the controls are that it felt a bit off with W being jump and with the mouse not being able to be held. Also the spikes being insta-kill felt a bit punishing.

The visuals really grew on me, through I feel with a bit more points of reference the movement would feel more natural.

In retrospect, using a weight as a icon for strength when fish weighing a certain amount was probably not the wisest. I changed the sprite to better indicate that it is upgrading strength. I also made it so you need strength earlier since the rate at which you gained strength made it so you never noticed you couldn't remove a scale in one click.

Turns out, being inconsistent in how you are naming things in code really messes things up. The gold purchase buttons should work now. I also fixed the bug where the buy buttons never went back to grey if you couldn't afford them.
