All the art for this was really good. The ghosts had really fun personalities and I quickly became attached to them. The point-and-click elements made it a very fun puzzle. There were a few things with the UI’s coding that need to be polished, but that aside, this is a really well polished game for a jam! It actually feels like it could be the intro to a really fun point and click adventure!

Very early on, this game felt like it has a lot of depth. The atmosphere is really well done. I’m not kidding when I say I could almost smell the air sometimes! And the characters are really interesting. The day system also really added to the sense like you can stay in this cemetery and it be a bit like a life sim on the edge of the afterlife. Had to play it a bit quick to rate, but I’m honestly book marking this to come back to after the jam. Really well done!

Ok kind of big comment, but I had a lot of fun with this! I liked the interactivity of being able to move around the house. I got to this point in the game where it felt like it was non-linear because I could now walk around the house picking up clues and asking people about them to gather information to make my big decision. That was a very pleasant gameplay moment!

There were some bugs but that’s to be expected in a game jam, especially with your gameplay elements. The one thing I’d say is maybe writing the controls on the game page could help, and just writing “the end” in the endings (the first time I wasn’t sure if there was more or if I actually reached the end)

That aside, I really liked the 2.5D art, and the story was really fun! I like the play on exorcism with bots and the humor genuinely made me laugh out loud lol.

Well done!

This was a fun story! The endings always hit me in the feelings no matter which I got lol. But they all had different tones that all felt nice in a different way.

And I had fun with the empathy, humor, logic system going through different routes to experiment with it. Well done!

I spoiler tagged my comment coz well, spoilers haha

I really like the lore for this! I did a project in uni about Data Algorithms and AI and I found it really cool how you had necromancy kind of follow that same evolution with how the tech companies can abuse it due to regulations not having cought up (and how it serves the purpose of finding a way around regulations on AI). It made me nerd out haha!

The way the creatures all draw from various lore was also super fun. I found myself looking up a bunch of them and I learned a lot!

Great work!

I accidentally commented on your game page instead of here yesterday so I guess you get two now that I’ve done a full playthrough xD

I really like this concept! I really like how the multiple choices of how to progress dialog make the playthroughs feel non-linear. The radio puzzle is not too complex but breaks up the gameplay a bit in a way that makes it feel like a unique form of VN. Well done!

Spoiler: How to save Velvet

When searching for velvet, when you get to the part where you can hear something like keys jingling in your right ear (just before you talk to her), turn right.

Thank you! There is a way, yes! I’m gonna try to put the answer here under a spoiler tag if you would like it!
