Hi. The game doesn't update itself, you have to download it each time. In Patreon you get early access to the latest build. If you want the whole game as a single purchase you can follow me here on itch and follow on Patreon (for Free) to get updated when it's released. Also you can follow my Steam developer profile to be notified.
Because current issues with itch and payment processors in general I decided to wait a bit to see the best way moving forward. I still do plan to release free episodes regularly so follow the itch page and stay tuned.
