Hello everyone, I’m U-chan voice, a vocal creator from Taiwan.

I usually create vocal-only sound effects and vocal design, but this time inspiration struck—I wrote a full set of lyrics, and a melody idea appeared in my mind.

Although the song has not yet been produced into a full track, I want to share this inspiration. Hopefully, it may one day grow into a real piece through collaboration with indie game developers or musicians.

I’d like to share something I’ve been experimenting with recently — a vocal mini-drama series.

The first act is called “Hide and Seek”, and it’s a short horror piece made entirely with my voice — no instruments, no external effects, just me playing with whispers, pauses, and sudden bursts of intensity.

It’s like creating a spooky scene only through sound, and I had a lot of fun recording it!

I recently created an a cappella vocal piece called "Prayer", and I genuinely can’t explain what happened.

I just wanted to make something calm and atmospheric… but the result? It sounds strangely beautiful, yet it gives me a subtle sense of unease.

I added some echo effects for ambience, and somehow, my own voice started to feel unfamiliar—as if it’s speaking from somewhere else.

Around the 11-second mark, there’s a bit of background noise I couldn’t remove. I left it in. Maybe that’s part of what makes it feel so real… or so haunting.

This track was actually created with just a single vocal take. I sang it live and used natural vocal control along with echo/reverb effects to shape the atmosphere—no plugins, no layering, just pure voice and space.
