Simple game, very real themes. Very worthwhile experience. Great stuff!

Wait... this game is actually so awesome.

I absolutely love the mechanical feel of this game. Every input feels quick and responsive. Attacking and dashing around makes you feel so cool! In particular, I really like the aerial attack and the little bounce the character does, it just feels so satasfying.

The art is also well done. The player character is wonderfully animated and is crazy fun to control. As well, I love the monochrome aesthetic, it makes the world feel drab and post-apocalyptic.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience playing your game!

Thank you for making it :)

Nice little game here! I really like playing small experiences like this. It reminded me a lot of small indie horror games I used to play!

It felt very cool dealing with the problem of managing torchlight to avoid attracting the ghost.

I found that navigation through limited vision was quite an interesting concept. While playing, I often thought about how this concept can really make for tense situations!

Great work on this solo project. Best of luck for your future games :))

The overall aesthetic was really nice! The procedural generation really cool, I was wondering how you did it. It feels like this idea ran out of time for the jam, but I believe this has potential!

Really cool stuff, nice game! :)

Really liked the "spooky PS1 graphics aesthetic", made the building super unsettling, especially with the TV being your only light source.

I played for a bit but the mouse controls felt pretty sensitive. Nevertheless, cool stuff.

Woah! To start, I really liked the intro room. It feels liminal and isolating considering the room is without doors, also "spooky old game" aesthetic worked very well here. Felt like I was awoken here in a dream.

As for the main gameplay, the animations and visuals where very nice. An issue I found was how difficult the level was and how it was very difficult to recover once enough skeletons reached your house.

I really liked what you have. The visuals and animations drew me in and made me very curious about the world. I'm not sure what you had planned but I feel like this could be a really interesting niche horror game!

Really charming platformer game. The SFX and sprites blend with the TV warping effect to give a really cool cartoony feel. Everything felt very cohesive.

My only issue was that Level 3 felt kind of like a maze with a lot of looping areas and some jumps being oddly difficult. Nevertheless, this was a fun experience!

Thanks a lot for playing! The art and levels are also some of my favorite parts too :)

What a joyful game about playing video games! This was so fun even if the games were so simple.

This brought back so much nostalgia, it made me think a lot of playing my first moments playing video games. Playing Space Survivor in particular reminded me of how it felt playing games on a weekend afternoon as kid.

Overall, Very pleasant experience :)

Thank you for making this

Very scary and atmospheric experience! I loved the creepy mystery vibes this game me, its a world I really want to explore! The TV lines also were a great touch, reminded me of the FNAF2/3 minigames, which was cool.

Overall, I really like the world you've made here! One issue I found was the camera centering. It being too far right makes the game feel slightly off.

Also, "Beware of any bizarre entities." is very funny in hindsight.

Great work

Extremely interesting game. I thoroughly enjoyed playing!  Swapping rows/columns was a really nice mechanic that lead to some interesting ways to solve levels. The visual and SFX blend very nicely, the overall "feel" of the game is fantastic. Art style too, visually consistent and very charming!

The mechanics were not too difficult to pickup, although I can understand how they can potentially be confusing. I can admit control scheme felt a little strange as someone who associates WASD with top-down grid controls.

Something I was wondering about was how the board pieces interacted! It wasn't entirely clear their behavior, such as which enemies moved first or where exactly a gravestone would land if it was hit. Also, the starting cutscene felt a little slow-paced.

Nevertheless, this was an awesome submission, especially considering it was made by one person. Defiantly something I could see myself enjoying and recommending to others!
