Some potions still include bugs that we weren’t able to fix in time. I apologize, if the plant doesn’t grow at all, try not to use the green fruit potion on the first day? I’ll ask if we can fix it or not.
Other than that, used potions are supposed to show on the left side, potion effects could be check in the recipe book on the top left corner. Some potions have special effects on yields. The plant should grow on itself even if no potions were used at all.
It is hard for me to realize that my own design is missing visual feedback so thank you very much for commenting! A wider desk setup is also a good suggestion.
I have considered a better tutorial and camera movement between scenes, but we didn’t have enough time to include those features. I’ve highly overestimated my programming ability and went looking for a programmer teammate 2 days after the jam began.
