It was fun trying to run into traps instead of avoiding them like usual :D The bombs were my favorite part. Putting shadows underneath the falling elements was a clever move, showed where they were going to show up in a clear way that also felt natural for the scene. Good job!

Thank you so much! Wow, Shady Part of Me looks really cool.
I am so sorry, I don't think I'll have the time to play through and rate your game in time D: I'll have to come back to it after, there's so much to explore. The paladin's oath heal didn't heal my party btw, neither in battle or in the overworld, did I misunderstand something about it? Really cool still, you made something very special!
Ahh the art in this was sooo dang pretty! The environment and scenes much so, the characters even more. The dialogue was so well written as well, you got such a good idea of who the characters were just from the way they talked. The story was touching and made you feel for the characters. I typically don't play visual novel type games, but I'd easily play a longer version of this any day. The visuals in this will definitely stick with me. Well done! <3
I had way too fun playing this, perhaps despite there not being many upgrades to get yet. I liked the attack animations! One tiny detail is I wish there was more reason to keep using the dash, once you got the upgrade that gives a health pickup on killing stunned enemies you're invincible. But I respect that this is a jam game and it's still super enjoyable! And the MUSIC. I played for way too long and I never got tired of the music, it was great. Might come back to this to play more :) Great job!
I'm happy to have come across this game, it's so silly and I love it. The humour is the obvious star, but the character art gives the character personality and their body language does so much to lift the dialogue to even greater heights. Also great voicework! Great job, and thank you for putting a smile on my face. :)
I'm a sucker for wordplay so the title alone is 10/10! The idea of delivering a rotting carcass to a fine-dining setting is funny lol. I would've liked to be able to look around, even just a little bit would've helped I feel like, but the first-person view of your shadow below was such a special look too. It was clever in a gameplay sense because you were always sure you were on target thanks to the shadow. The arrow pointing to the food delivery point also helped. The music was hecka groovy and the illustrations were very cute :) Good job!
This was really fun! I liked the concept. In the first level I accidentally put two Jarians in the same brazier and couldn't put one in the golden one to finish the level, oops. That was entirely on me. Once I restarted I could enjoy the rest of the game properly! I thought the puzzles were very neat :) I would've liked to have it be hinted where the colored blocks go, sometimes they didn't go where I thought and I had to restart the level - it's no big deal at all, it's just a personal preference that doesn't affect my rating :D The music was nice too! Great job with the game, I could play more of this!
Wow, this was fantastic! The artwork and animations were great all around, both the backgrounds and death animations and the delightful running animation haha. I am thoroughly impressed. And from the start the music really raised the experience! Not to mention the gameplay, it was very fun. The rate of progression felt very skillfully crafted, too! I felt like I got just far enough each time to know what I wanted to upgrade next. It's fun that different routes in skill upgrades seem equally viable - I almost completely ignored the dash, put my first upgrades in attack, then some movement speed, and after reaching the beetle I decided to go for as much jump height as I could after maxing my attack, which seems completely different from another rater's strategy. This is very impressive, I hope you're proud of what you managed to create in such a short time. :)
I loved the lighting in the cutscenes! Made for very dramatic scenes. And oh my, the narrative was masterfully blended with the gameplay in the end - in the same pace you walked down the table, that sinking feeling of realizing what was going on set in. The music fit the whole experience as well. Well done!
You all did a great job on this one! The movement felt great and the puzzles felt well-thought out. I will echo what others have said about the clarity of the nests, they were hard to see and at first I didn't know where they were, but the lizards are just delightful. The tutorial voice was nice to listen to, very relaxing tone, fitting for the game :)
