You made it to the end! Very impressive

Thanks! Watch this space for Tank Dodger 2

Everyone needs an Artificially Intelligent Nimble User Support ;) Thanks for trying it out, I may look to reduce the tediousness in a future update, or scatter a few more hints around the room for the aptitude test

The bookshelf does offer some hints for each stage of the job application process, but otherwise it is pretty much down to luck (or lack thereof). Glad you enjoyed the art!

That's incredibly unlucky ;) Impressive CV spam commitment though

Loved the cutscenes and art. Very original idea, nails the theme of the jam, and a fascinating game mechanic (no ability to walk/run, can only bounce/jump). I found it difficult to get used to the controls and I think if they could be slightly more forgiving (perhaps an ability to control direction while in mid-air?) this game would become an absolute classic.

Two quirky, dark little games in one that really evoke a grittier aesthetic not often seen on the Game Boy. I enjoyed the fact that it is possible to follow the correct cup in the cups game and win consistently... I'm just not that good at it! And the Russian Roulette game has a nice twist that becomes apparent on each replay. Very short but nails the jam theme in my opinion

The art, music, and gameplay are highly polished. Would love to see more games set in this world

I loved the art style for this game and the WarioWare-esque mini-game approach. You managed to incorporate the theme into each mini-game seamlessly. The fact they all built up towards the date was very inspired. I also appreciated the checkpoint near the end!

I found the player character interesting (cyclops? Off to save the Queen?) and the pixel art was very well done. I agree the jumping physics could be tweaked to make it less floaty, as someone else mentioned. I also found the HUD to be obtrusive, and it prevented me from seeing the stalactites in time to avoid being hit by them. The music was a good fit for the fantasy world vibe, and enjoyable to listen to.

Thank you for playing and your thoughtful feedback! The CV spam can be a bit grindy, with each application increasing the odds of progression when you sleep by 1%. I might make that easier on a future update

Great pixel art, especially on the mission failed screen (which I saw a lot of!) Fun little game with responsive controls

Thanks! It's supposed to resemble Gary Oldman's Dracula from the 1992 film, although I agree the film version is somewhat androgynous
