Loved this!

I ran a short little game for my partner where she was a ladybug crossing from the flower patch to the watering hose hookup. She was pursued by thunderous footsteps that ultimately belonged to a friendly if bizarre beetle.

Thanks for sharing!!

booo finish a game sometime sodabro

The emoji graphics were surprisingly charming!

Poop Master is way harder, my high score was like 90-something.

Dodge Master I did better but mostly cause the cat got stuck in a weird loop for a bit lol.

Really cool little game and nice page layout too!

Thank you so much :) I am so glad you enjoyed it!

I haven't had the chance to sit down and play this yet but I also haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I read it, truly a wonderful idea executed beautifully. Thank you for sharing!

This looks so fun! :)

I hope you plan to release an English translation someday!

Thank you for sharing!

This is incredible! The art is gorgeous and evocative. The text is clear and concise yet plenty flavorful (spicy). Truly just an all around wonderful game.

I love your art style!

This is a really cool game; I hope I get the chance to run it soon!

Thank you for sharing!

Woah, this is incredible!

This is so dope! Your hand-drawn icon is amazing.

What a cool idea and execution! I feel like this is easily hackable into any campaign for some light-hearted necromantic fun. Big fan of the random, silly flavor and yet still tight, crunchy rules.

Thank you for sharing!

Hey, this is such a cool idea! The mechanics were easy to understand and the "gimmick" for lack of a better term is so unique and interesting! I hope I can get a group to play this sometime. Thank you for sharing your work!

I love your cover art!

Do you plan to offer an English translation? I'd love to check it out if so!

Also, it appears some of your code in the description is broken! So sorry! Hope you see this :)

This was such a blast to play through! Very thematic.

  • I played Reign; a Mind hero, with a Secret Identity, and Storm Spice.
  • Reign was able to detect the dimensional frequency. (I ended up forgetting his +2 to rolls, though.)
  • He rescued 12 hostages but triggered the dimensional trap.
  • His civilian phone rang and his landlord informed him the rent was overdue. (-1 Spice)
  • (In Scene 8, I spent my first Spice point to re-roll)
  • Reign managed to save most of the hostages scattered across the dimensions.
  • Reign engaged the Architect of the Dimensional Tower in a battle of wits and managed to confuse the villain temporarily and secure a victory. The strange magics of the Architect had left scars on both the world and Reign himself. (Ending C)

Thank you so much for making this!

I did a short play-through this afternoon with Hyperion by Dan Simmons as I felt like there was a similar vibe there. What happened was truly fun and a bit haunting! I generated an illness or plague of some kind that killed the infected and spread to others by somehow killing the memory of the deceased in their acquaintances as well. Its origin was mysterious but distinctly tragic; it was obvious that it would eventually infect and erase everything. The only way to resist the infection was to maintain a level of extreme stress and duress for the duration of the incubation period.

I can't wait to play it with another book soon! Thanks again!

Hey all! :)

👋 Where are you from? Midwestern United States!
🧭 How did you discover this jam? physicalgamejams.com
🍽️ What languages do you speak? English only unfortunately.
🎲 What kind of games do you like to cook up? I'm just kinda starting out so not much yet. I'm interested in mystery, action, and vibe above all. I think a lot of my inspiration comes from trying to recapture that childhood excitement, wonder, and mystery.

Hint: think of re-spawning in video game terms. This isn't a new red slime being born when the characters enter the room again, rather its the dungeon "recycling" its defensive tools. This means that if one half of the pool is filled with a dead slime and someone enters that slime's spawn point its remains will be reclaimed by the dungeon and respawned for the character entering its room. Thus, the dungeon cannot be solved by backtracking.

This was a great dungeon; I ran it for my partner in our solo campaign as a kind of interlude one-shot adventure and we had an absolute blast! Thank you so much for sharing!

This is really cool! The presentation is awesome and I love the foldable print version. Also, it's nice to see someone using games to get people together and talking about the problems we are facing in the world!
