just a bug fix!

It has to be a browser problem, because I'm honestly not sure how that would even happen. If you go further, does anything else (like Val's pronouns) show the $ or is it just the MC's name?

ah nevermind I think I found the problem- there was a loophole where you could skip the prologue (and character naming) because of a typo. should be fixed now.

Go visit Klaus in the Acropolis in the beginning of the chapter (instead of Ira), and you'll be able to ask him about Val, which should unlock that dialogue

Hey! That's a first for me. Are you able to play other twine games without issue?

Edit: Turns out Imgur, where I stored my image files, is now blocked in the UK. Theoretically you should still be able to play the game, you'll just have that annoying purple gradient for a sidebar. I'll look into an alternative image site for the next update.

You can only have that scene once (except with Ira), so don't mention it to Klaus and you'll be able to get the scene with Connie

hii ✨ progress is steady! I've written another 20k ish words, though I haven't updated the game here since I haven't fixed all the empty bits yet. i'm avoiding them hahaha

Oh, I like those a lot, and they're just about perfect. Just imagine them non corporeal and hard to look at. Really the only requirement is draped fabric and not looking like a real, individual person. The more it looks like a mannequin drowning in lace the better. These are all from pinterest, so unfortunately no luck finding the originals:

But anyway, it works when I test from Twine but not when I load a save, so it's probably something to do with save states 🤷‍♀️

smdh it's always the Val. Should be all fixed except the first one, I can't for the life of me figure out why that's not working. Those pronouns aren't referring to Val, though, so even when I figure it out it won't align with whatever gender you chose for Val
