this game is very spooky

thank you for the feedback!

Honestly I considered it but ran out of time during the jam, and last second I over-tweaked the chase speed of zombies..

Hello everyone!

We are a team of 4 people, making a tense puzzle/survival top-down game and are looking for someone who can create nice 2D environment art (like tilesets).

If this sounds something you'd be interested in doing please reach out to me below

looking forward to hearing from you 🙂

Hello everyone,

This is my first legitimate game-jam but I've made many prototypes (some of which I'll include) in different engines.  I also work in the industry as a developer (away from games), and I'd be very interested in getting to meet people in the community!

Please take a look and let me know if I'd be a good fit!  My discord is @tomplatz

Note: These prototypes were made by me from scratch.  There is no pre-made unity code (e.g.FPS Controller) that I am using.  Even the physics behind these rely on custom kinematic physics, or partial Unity rigidbody physics, to which I also manipulate in code.  This allows a very specialized and unique game-feel, and also demonstrates proficiency in game development.

Multiplayer Horror Prototype:

This game has networked physics objects (similar to REPO), vaulting, jumping, crouching, stairs, tight character controls, a key/door system, and a basic AI system.

At 34 seconds, the purple blocks indicates a vault-able wall

Survivors-type Prototype made in Godot:

This game is testing ECS, pushing how many enemies I can have in the game-world while remaining performant.  It was written in Godot, and is meant to be a prototype similar to Vampire Survivors.

I quite enjoyed the game, took me around 30 minutes to beat.  I don't think you should remove or simplify the puzzle aspect, it seemed somewhat straight forward.
