my brain is mush, sword self-yuri is all that remains. This novel is such a good mindfuck. It could be one of the greatest pieces of extreme sff I've ever read on the level of all the old greats and with none of the baggage.
the prose is beautifully crafted and simultaneously jarringly real. the narrative flows with the characters as they wrestle with the brokenness of their existence. The action is dizzying, the despair and longing palpable, and despite everything it is tinged with hope and love.
you should read this book. you should tell people about this book. there is something great, something hard to wrap your mind around and impossible to put into sufficient words going on in this story. it will call to you like it is a shard of something that came from within your soul.
