Really interesting take on the genre! the artstyle is also really cool (and disturbing when needed), I liked it a lot!

Very funny and charming, and with a very nice artstyle to boot! Good job!

Really cool spin on a genre that I otherwise don't particularly enjoy! I also really like all the effects and visuals, the game feels super snappy and cool! I don't think I'm very good at it haha, as I just kept trying to activate the glitch blocks to get rid of them lol, but I managed to get 2744! Cool game!

I love the art and sound direction so much. The game has a super cohesive sense of style and is very original!

Neat little game! I can definitely see the Balatro inspiration, even in the UI. I just wish there was some more juicyness to it, as everything feels very static as is. But the concept is really cool and so is the gameplay!

This is a neat little experience. The main objective is pretty trivial, what I found to be really enjoyable was putting all the matching items in rows and them trying to combine them all for extra score during the little timing window. I personally don't like that there's a bunch of instructions on the same screen as the game itself, but other than that I think its cool for what it is, and you definitely achieved your goal of creating a solid inventory system! I scored 264 points btw!

I really like the game's idea, its extremely original and super well polished. Sadly I really suck at it so I couldn't finish it even after many, many attempts lol. One of the best entries in the jam for sure, I could see this as a full fledged game on steam!

Thanks a lot for the feedback, and thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun :3

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!

There are some male characters that look pretty feminine so that's probably why you're confusing their gender haha, but you can also check their name to confirm. I know that the algorithm I made to generate crowds never fails because I tested it extensively :p
Thanks for playing!

The point isn't to find "single differences", its to find one thing common among 3 of the 4 people and pick the other one. For instance, it doesn't matter if one person is bald if everyone else hasdifferent lengths of hair. I tried to make that clear in the tutorial, but some people still get a bit confused over it. Either way, thanks for playing!

Incredibly polished game with great level design.Using rain to indicate the gravity direction was such an incredibly smart choice, giving great readability to the puzzles as well as creating a super unique aesthetic! Loved it, you could definitely add more levels and colours and make it into a full game!

Pretty fun little game! I think the gameplay loop is very fun, it feels like something you'd see on the app store back when mobile games were starting to become a thing. My only gripe is with the graphics, as they feel cobbled together from many different places. I would've preferred a game with "worse" hand drawn graphics for everything that had a more cohesive sense of style. Other than that, good job! Oh, and I managed to score 12340 haha

I adore the art for this game, its incredibly precious. It really is a shame the gameplay itself ends on such a short notice. Good job regardless!

I really like the art and the minigames, but outside of that the dialogue becomes a bit repetitive and the game is a little buggy. Other than that, nice job!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot! I tweaked the character sprites at least 3 or 4 times throughout the jam to make sure the attributes were as noticeable as possible, so I'm glad that shows haha!

Thanks a lot for the kind words! that means a lot to hear :3

I tried my best to capture the essence of older arcade games which become addicting because of how infuriating and difficult they are at first, haha! Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot! I tried my best haha!

I think my main gripe with the game is that for this style of gameplay similar to Balatro my choices felt like they didn't matter very much unlike the latter. Cards have levels, but since the right card can always beat its counterpart you don't have much incentive to engage with that system. I just kind of kept increasing my income and reducing the cost of cards in the shop until the game became trivial as I'd always have more cards. I think there is a lot of potential here gameplay wise, but it requires a good look at the balancing side of things. Hope this helps!

It looks really cool! Especially the wooden stick when you spin it around, it's very satisfying!

As long as you got inspired and made something you're proud of, that's what matters most! And after the jam you can add all those extra features, who knows haha!

Thank you for the feedback! And yeah, it is a very fancy word lol

Thank you so much! I'm glad I could nail the vibes right, hehe. Initially the game wasn't really themed about windows 98, it was gonna take place in real life, identifying suspects to some police case or something lined up against a wall. But when I thought about the timing mechanic, the idea of some annoying thing you had to deal with *popped up* (lol) into my mind and it ended up driving the game's whole aesthetic with it!

Thank you so much for the kind words! The vibe and aesthetic was the one thing I really wanted to nail down, as I feel like immersion makes the most difference in a game, so hearing that makes me very happy!

Thanks a lot! I'm more used to traditional art and digital art with higher resolutions, but have recently found a love for pixel art haha, I'm glad it shows! And yeah, I kind of just took the theme in the most literal way possible when coming up with the concept lol

Obrigada pelos elogios e por experimentares o jogo!

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!

I'm glad I could capture your attention haha! And yeah, sound effects and juice add SO much to a game, the earlier builds looked very boring, turst me lol

I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Its a difficult game, what can I say lol.
Regarding the possible memory leak, I double checked everything on my machine and fixed all the existing memory leaks that were plaguing the game. Locally that is, the web version is way harder to diagnose haha. Thank you for the feedback either way!

It was very hard to understand what I was supposed to do at first, but after I realized what was going on it was pretty nice, albeit still a bit confusing. I love the art and atmosphere though!

I love everything about this game except for the gameplay itself. Everything is very janky, which is unfortunate because the art direction and music are both incredible! I think you could definitely take this somewhere with a lot more time to polish out the code. Good effort!

Extremely original art direction!

The overall presentation is very nice, but I never saw a reason to use any of the paints besides the red and green one other than for fun. I think creating all of these cool powers and no uses for them was a bit of a waste. Other than that its a really cool concept and game, I think you should keep working on it!

I could see this becoming an actual game if you got rid of some of the jankier controls!! Its SO good and a very original take on the theme that stands perfectly on its own outside the jam! Great work, one of my favourites so far!
