After playing this for a bit I realize the ramp up in difficulty needs some work, the random terrain could be improved a lot more, as well as the collisions with that terrain, and the lack of sound doesnt help things either.

I’m under no illusions that this is polished. So the aim next week with be to refine what I do have here, should be fun.

Thank you, You’re too kind. I did try to implement the player tracking but I found the ramp up in spawn rate gave the same feel with the random incoming angle. One thing I did make use of was the small play space to make the game feel like its doing more in the background than it actually is.

I do plan on coming back to this one day, so I’ll keep in mind the color scheme feedback

I’m honored I could star and voice act in the 2025 game of the year!

Got me grinning ear to ear. This is great

I know a place you can jam it.

Yea I mucked up and did the wrong year. Voting will be done much sooner.

I use most of those same words to describe you too <3

Love the concept. Could see this on a school computer as a learning tool.

Nice little narrative. Good use of “Learn from your mistakes”. Visual novels usually rely on longer story’s to get the player invested, but this shows a good proof of concept.

Im not crying your crying. Good fun. Short, simple and great narrative.

Thanks for the feedback. I want to tidy this up after the jam is over so I’ll take this into consideration. I started having issues with the start menu too, not sure what I did to cause it to need such precision
