Today! We found the corpse of "Mortis"
Flesh (Visuals):
I enjoyed the look, has a good start for its meat
Dismemberment (Difficulty):
Easy to play, pretty straight forward and easy to figure out
Infestation (Bugs):
No bugs that I noticed, maybe in the corpse on the table
Corpse Integrity (Story):
Took a turn I was not expecting, starts off like a Mortuary Assistant style game and then "click" things shift a different vibe, liked it, like to see where the story goes with Amira
Something Off About It? (Ambience):
Hits that Mortuary Assistant feel where you are waiting for ghosts, dead body walking around, it is a demo so it is limited on events but the taste was there and had me a little on edge
How Long To Dismember (Playtime):
Probably around 5-10 minutes, I tend to mess around and take longer
Value Of Meat (Price):
It's free! Free is always in the budget! But is a demo!
Post Mortem Thoughts:
Always a fan of Niven's gamecraft, no two games are the same, each with their own story and taste, this one I enjoyed, its a demo so there wasnt a bunch going on built the set up for the it there and I liked it. I don't want to throw spoilers, the twist by the end of the demo interested me a lot, love to see some more bodies at first, maybe some small weird events until we hit that twist or play with the players perception until the twist cannot be hidden anymore, overall, enjoyed and love to see it progressed and added to. Great demo and a interesting branch off of this style of game.
