Thats awesome! You don’t have to apologize for having your main language be Russian? I don’t think you controlled where you were born (Although tell me if you did cause I’d be hella impressed 😂)

The game was great! only a few mistranslated lines and I could still follow very well. The writing was phenomenal considering you wrote the game twice!

Amazing job and Super cool that you updated it so quick.

Hello! I hope you can read this ok I saw your teams main language is Russian and unfortunately I only speak english haha ;(

I LOVED the game it was really good. The art was very horrific and beautiful in the perfect way. Every scene made me wince and the translation was for the most part really good! Translating takes so much time and I’m really impressed you managed that in such a short time.

Things I really loved

  • The art was fantastic

  • speech effects were creepy and really set the mood. Especially after getting punched.

  • characters were memorable and unique. Each character had its own way of speaking which I can notice and respect. That’s not easy to do.

  • The interactions between characters felt mostly natural. The way a conversation would feel.

  • I never felt like my time was being taken up by too much talking. Everything was well paced start to finish and kept me really engaged. Amazing

Things that were weird to me

  • Some translations didn’t appear even though I set my game to English. It felt like every time the scene changed my first dialogue was Russian.

  • The clicking for Galileo’s text was really loud. A bit too loud for my ears aha.

  • Some text gets skipped. or maybe it auto advanced and I clicked away the next dialouge on accident.

  • some text left the box at the bottom. The red text felt intentional, but some white text as well escaped. I understand it may be intentional always, if so don’t mind me.

  • I would have loved to see an example of how fast my text would scroll in the options. Just a small thing

  • I would have loved to see the mask come together on the same screen. It’s ok if it was a limitation of your engine and you didn’t have time. What you made is fantastic.

All in all thank you for the amazing experience. The title screen hooked me from minute 1 and I loved every bit of it. The scenes were grotesque and the whole game was so interesting. The employees freaked me out and I was immersed. I’d Love to see what you guys come up with next! :)

And I wish you guys a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This was truly stunning and very surreal LOL. Your team and mine really thought on the same exact wavelength and started making 2 very different games that are described in the same way. I love it. Ours is nowhere near completed in the state it’s submitted in, and I’m truly impressed at what you accomplished in such a short time.

What I loved:

  • The whole atmosphere was selling me from minute one.

  • The characters were beatifully designed and very memorable.

  • The dialogue between characters was overall funny and I think my favorite was the Crow

  • The performance parts were surreal and gruesome in an amazing way. You nailed the disturbing aspect with everything that went into that.

  • choices affecting good and bad endings are awesome and clear. Loved the side quests.

Some personal opinions:

  • The dialogue in general dragged on in the 3D stage scene a lot for me. I ended up trying to skip through cause I felt trapped when I started talking to the fox lol :p I think the point was that they were a chatterbox but jeez haha. The most notable examples was talking to the fox the first or second time and one more time I can’t remember right now sorry.

  • I could not turn in the fox quest after I picked up both items.

  • felt a little slower than I’d like when trying to walk around. The place was gorgeous but I’d love more of a brisk walk.

  • Interact prompt kept disappearing and made it a bit difficult to tell where I could interact with things. Nothing major just awkward.

With all that said I loved the game so much. Again, to make this game in a month you guys are truly talented and This was so enjoyable. Thank you for posting and I hope to see more games you guys make in the future and maybe even collaborate on some :)

Happy New Year!

Hello! I loved playing your game and thought it was so interesting the way you went with the theme.

Things I liked:

  • Loved the dialogue on the actors like they were helpless
  • the interludes with the directors thoughts were awesome
  • The final act was a beautiful shock. Loved the ending
  • presentation was very good throughout. A month is a short time to make a game and to have a complete one, even submitted late, is impressive.

There was really only 1 thing that bothered me:

  • It felt like act 2 needed more control than I had to complete. I didn’t understand how the puppets would move and it made the section a tad frusterating. It wasn’t unplayable I Just got stuck for longer than I’d like to admit lol.

Great game and thank you for letting me play it. You did awesome :)

Oh no this is great feedback. No ones stupid and I think you did your best to play it with the limited knowledge I gave.

The background thing was NOT intentional and I just forgot to fix it (oops).

Thank you for the compliments on the art and dialogue I thought my team did an amazing job at stylizing it.

The game came with a ‘script’ file. and that was meant to be your guide to follow. Pressing E when your line comes up in the script will insert it and speak it.

This is not said anywhere and your confusion is super justified. I plan on making it more clear that you have a line to say in the future of the game.

There’s no real fail state and it’s just really a test on if the system of thinking a line and then later saying it is fun. I’m seeing that to properly test it I need to make it more clear to the players what is happening which is entirely on me.

LOVE the feedback thank you. I’ll put these on the list of things to fix and tweak!

No problem I think you did great. I always try to give what my experience was in as much detail as possible good and bad, because I know how important it is to hear feedback. Just like writing a paper and getting your rough draft read by someone else.

I’m glad it’s appreciated :)

This game was Really fun! Some things I noted:

  • The cheesy lines added a really nice touch. Loved the crystal ball guy haha
  • The controls were really responsive
  • Art for characters was really good and left a nice touch
  • UI was SOLID. Very cool
  • The carnival games were so fun. Simple good fun

Some snags I hit while playing:

  • The prompt to pick up tickets wasn’t near where the object was. Kind of had to fiddle around with it.
  • It was hard to tell if I was hitting enemies sometimes. Especially if they were further away.
  • The movement speed was a tad slow with how big you designed the level in the second half. Very little action backtracking trying to find where I missed a ticket.
  • Options menu didn’t seem to do anything? It’s alright if it was never gotten to I understand. A month is such a short time to make a game and I think you did amazing.
  • Had the game give me a ‘FATAL ERROR’ and crash twice. Both times I was pressing tab to check my inventory when it happened when I had 4-5 tickets. This reset my ticket count and I had to collect them all in the second half again haha.

With all that said. I loved it and think you did amazing with the time you had. It was stylized and fun even if I had a few setbacks. Nothing was unworkable and I was able to complete the game and had a great time! I hope to see what you make in the future :)

Alchemist out.

Herald Of Flesh was the most fun I’ve had with all the games I’ve played! It was so unique and satisfying that I would love to see what you come up with next. A true masterpiece example of simple and fun.

I just started cutting tentacles because I loved attacking!

Sure it was a little buggy, the swings didn’t go through all the time, but it was so enjoyable I could care less about it’s flaws. The artstyle and gameplay were stellar you guys did amazing.

I think you really nailed the presentation and made a faithful recreation of the creepy pasta. Very well executed and I can see the theme in it 100% you did an amazing job. This is art.

I may be dumb haha, but I never got anything weird to happen. Outside of the normal loop. I learned you could pick up the movie posters. I’ll go back to this game another day. You’ve made something very atmospheric and wonderful.

Wow and thank you for the insight! The last track was incredible. I loved the puzzles overall and I know how hard it is to make them understandable to others. It’s a skill you should practice because this is a great start!

I didn’t even say, but the flower puzzle was perfect. “watch your step” is an wonderful subtle hint and I understood immediately what I had to do. and the touch of not making me go through it again after I complete it once was amazing.

I hope the holidays even if they leave you flustered are fun and you enjoy them. Don’t expect too much from mine aha We ran out of time and it’s mostly just a basic gameplay prototype. However I hope you have fun when you play it!

Hey! I played your game and loved it. It was a complete experience with beautiful music and very good puzzles that kept me engaged.

  • The opening was immersive

  • I loved what happens when you save the game. It was such a nice touch.

  • The writing didn’t feel stiff or uninteresting. It was very good.

  • The theme was SO on point you nailed it. Amazing job

  • The music tied these themes together so well. Not sure what was composed but all in all amazing direction and design.

Some things I thought could be improved:

  • The music was really loud. I’ve never worked with RPG Maker so maybe it’s an engine limitation, but it drowned out the true end cutscene dialogue pretty bad.

  • The chase scenes had no warning. It would have been nice to have the doll shake before dropping down so I know to run haha.

  • The doll puzzle, while really good, had hints that were a bit to abstract for me. If it didn’t save what I put down when it was right I might have struggled lol. and not letting me pick them back up when it’s correct kind of defeats the puzzle yeah? At that point I can guess until it’s right.

  • I don’t know how I was supposed to know what combination the numbers for the lock were meant to go in :( I DID love how you got them though. AWESOME design with them being scattered around.

You did so well for just a month. I can’t stress how much I enjoyed it Thank you. Love this game and hope you keep making more.

GAME IS IN SORRY FOR THE DELAY
