Is there a way you can go back to the old versions of the armies fighting.    The old way was so much better because I could see when my troops were attacking and when the enemies were attacking. Now it is just a red line that makes it hard to strategize in my attacks

Just Play as Cuba so you wont be bothered, switch to the time-lapse Army map mode, then record and you're good.
