Really nice concept and story lore i loved how they fit the theme everyone in the level has its own story and abilities encouraging you to get started also loved the art looks so good and the peaceful ambient of the clouds and background music added so much to the theme really well done, if you dont mind you can also give my game a shot.

The art of the game is crazy , the top down 3d dimension is really well made. The desin of the characters are unique. About the gameplay , this is a drawing game trying telling a story about creations and arts in a way.

First thing's first, your game is absolutely beautiful. The art for everything is so nice, the music is very pleasing. The drawing part was really cute, and using those tiles to draw is so creative, the only thing is that the eraser is a bit funky.
Story is very nice, with a good message, it really resonates with me as I always have art blocks. Amazing work for doing the art, music, and writing by yourself.
It's one of my top fav game for sure! I look forward to see more from you!

Also, I'm happy you enjoyed the game, I was really nervous! I'm not use to share my work, I tend to stay in my corner, drawing and creating for my eyes only, so I didn't have a sense at all of if it would be well received or not before submitting it. And watching you play, laugh at some of my jokes, creating with so much care and appreciating my pixel art.. You know, I feel really grateful that I had the opportunity to see it!

Finally got around to downloading and playing this game, it was really awesome! I loved the intro, the writing was quirky and funny without sacrificing any of the meaning behind the message. The art was beautiful too especially the picture after you submit your work. Super cozy game with unlimited potential the more tiles you add to the drawing pallet. Really inspiring and hopecore vibes.
To match the resilience of the young diety fighting their creator's block I made a buff snake man.
You're the first person using the tiles as originally intended: everything is connecting! XD (not that the other way around is bad, I'm always amazed to see how brains work in different ways from a person to an other, but today I found a peer! 😆) he reminds me a bit of Dragonair in a way!

I don't know if this was intended, but I feel like it's sort of a meta commentary because I thought your art was extremely good, and the art I made with your game is terrible lol.
I wish the controls were a little bit easier to use, that would really make it fun.
Hahahah! dont worry, it was designed so the creature would look wacky regardless, because Neo, the character you play, is just starting, you know 😆 so it doesnt tell anything about YOUR art abilities 😆
I agree the controles are a bit... awkward, especially in the creative part (for exemple the eraser, I changed the collision box just before posting so just the tip would erase, without thinking it would make it SO HARD TO GRAB. that was stupid, but I got a lesson from it: don't try to fix something that's already working)
also some controles are not as intuitive as I thought they were, sadly :/ but hey, I'm a newbie in game dev so obiously I'll make some rookie mistakes 🙂↕️

Man, the art in this game is beautiful. I really like the message about literally "Just Getting Started", and I feel like the tile system being kind of tricky is part of the feeling that you still have a lot to learn. Great job! Here is my creature :D
Yes, yes! you got it! It kind of forces the player to draw a funky looking creature, cause as a debutant, Neo wouldn't be able to make something perfect! And it also gives people who "can't draw" something to work with you know ? it would've been dissonant to have Neo say "I have plenty of Ideas" to then have the player stuck in front of a white canvas with just a pen 😆

Love the Ambience. I admit I'm not good at creative games, but the idea is brilliant. Was a bit skeptical of downloading a at first but I'm glad I did.

Your game is way too good!!! It's so unfortunate that your game doesn't have a web build! I noticed you used gamemaker (my beloved), so what happened? you had problems exporting a web version? I would really like to help!
Indeed, In fact I'm a dev newbie and when I saw that my game was totally broke in htlm5 I didn't even try to fix it ^^" (I didnt slept properly for a week at that point, I thought the deadline was on saturday, that was silly I admit it).
so, for the two issue right at the start: music never starts (I ASSUME it is because it set to start in a create event, and not in a step event, so might be because it kinda jump over that frame, never setting the music system? idk)
this was annoying, but the real issue lied in how I handled the "quest", talking to Bootes unlock the other's discussions in the .exe, but that doesn't work on the browser version and I'm too inexperienced to know where the issue lie :/ (since you played you know that you can't go to the second half without talking to the others so it was over at that point..)
I knew it would be like shooting myself in the leg to not have a web version, it is hard to trust a download nowdays, but I didn't realise HOW MUCH it would make my game sink XD I find comfort from the few feed back I got, as a newbie it's really heart warming to see that my little game left such a strong impression, you know! But yeah next step on my dev journey is figuring out that htlm5 mess XD
When i started developing my game, i tried using html5 (also my first time trying to export a web version!), but who uses it knows that it SUCKS SO MUCH. Them i tried the opera gx export that was recently added, and it works perfectly just like the windows version! I'm so sad that you didn't know this before, your game would be absolutely popular by now!

The good news is though, that it will be an easy addition to make for when the jam ends, maybe a little to late for the light spots, the fame, success, luxury hotels and money👌🌟, but, you know, it will make that little project of mine more accessible and that's all I want.
