Congrats on finishing a game!

The biggest flaw in this game is that as a player, you are not doing anything most of the time. Saving your files should require more action on behalf of the player, or the time it takes to transfer files should be lower. Perhaps a slightly different spin where you have to find a specific file to save is more interesting?

The first playthrough was also rather confusing since there is no introduction or tutorial. On a more positive note, the art looks good (its just ashame you left the default blue unity background in the back).

Hey, thx for the feedback!

When you say that saving files should require more action by the player do you mean in the uploading stage?

I tried your game too, one my favs from the game jam. Only thing I'd say is that there doesn't seem to be any consequences to have any of the stats low, especially piety. Maybe you could increase the hostility with which people treat you if you have low piety. Also maybe a date by which you have to arrive would give the player a bugger sense of urgency and incentivise them to risk their rations to go faster. Last but not least for me the game just blocked itself halfway through anatolia, I had the event but the buttons weren't interactable.

More action in the uploading stage would be one way, but more steps before that would also work. I would just seek for more interaction in general.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions on my game. Ashame about the bug - I know why it happens (you can only click buttons if you have the required stats) and I thought I implemented a fix, but it wasnt a full fix it seems. I agree with your suggestions as well, and would definitely take such steps if there wasnt as much of a time constrain.

I like the suggestion and tbh I've been thinking about your feedback all day and I came up with a solution. I am considering changing the uploading phase so that instead of waiting, you'll have to click a button which appears randomly (or will stay in place. I have yet to decide) and you'll have to click it more times depending on the file size.

Yeah, fr about the time pressure. I felt it so much too. Was looking like this to finish the game.
