I like the idea, definitely feels cheery and victorious :) Layering the bells with strings makes them stand out nicely. One small thing I noticed is that the toms feel a bit off-beat at times. As to mixing (if I understand your description correctly that you used audacity to mix the song) you could try the mixing tools within reaper as I feel like it's more flexible than audacity. Overall I enjoyed the song, nice work!
