If this game has a message, it gets lost in the meaningless violence. There's a difference between being edgy but having something to say, and just endorsing violence for entertainment.

Maybe you could argue that the bad ending is bad for a reason, and the good ending is good, and that's the message, that violence is bad. But even then, you get more content for the bad ending, and the rest of the endings feel more like an afterthought. The game is designed to exponentially reward you with content for pain, and that's why it feels less like a game with something to say, and more like a torture simulator.

lo entiendo, lo sentí igual, el final bueno en realidad es el más aburrido, dificil y sin  mucho contenido. Por eso se siente mejor o entretenido hacer el malo, entonces realmente no tiene algo que decir. No se siente una recompensa por invertir más tiempo en hacer lo bueno cuando no pasa nada.

I don’t think things for adults should necessary have “a message”. And what’s wrong with meaningless violence? It’s just pixels on a screen.
