I agree with the other feedback that has already been given, both positive and negative, but I can additionally add:

  1. It would be nice if the doors open away from you (so they don't push you)
  2. If you stand slightly around a wall/corner, the skeletons will continuously run into that wall. While they are busy running into a wall, you can easily shoot them. I guess for future development, you need some kind of navigation system for the skeletons.
  3. It is easy to run (Shift) backwards while shooting a skeleton, because the skeletons run slower forwards than you do backwards. Maybe the backwards running speed needs to be decreased?

But overall, a great starting point for a 3D dungeon crawler. And the visuals are fantastic.

Also, it fits well with the theme, considering you submitted it 10 minutes before the deadline. Very risky. :D

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback — really appreciate you taking the time!

Totally agree on the doors — I hadn’t considered how awkward that push direction could feel, but I’ll definitely look into flipping them.

Great catch on the skeleton AI, too. That wall-running bug made me laugh, but yeah, I definitely need to implement some proper pathfinding next time around. (I don’t know how to do it yet, but I’m planning to learn!)

The speed balance is another good point — I’ll experiment with tweaking the backward run speed or maybe speeding up the skeletons a bit to keep the pressure on.

And yeah… submitting with 10 minutes left was definitely a stressful life choice 😂 I actually made the two levels just before the deadline. Glad it still came together and fit the theme!

Thanks again — feedback like this really helps improve the project.
