lol, i loved your short, but vivid descriptions of the songs... a wonderful change of tone from a lot of other entries! the progressions in the first track are spot on and really well-chosen. the restating of your central motif does a great job keeping the songs connected through their relatively disparate styles! the highlight for me is the last track - the piano writing gives an air of confidence, but the melodic and harmonic choices at the beginning of the track destabilize it, contributing to that feeling of uncertainty that you mention in the youtube description. however, towards the end, it seems to resolve, with the dissonance becoming scarce, and it really does finish with that sort of longing feeling. i think you've done a great job conveying emotions throughout your writing in the entirety of this project - really nicely done!
